Kelsie at Russell Florist did an incredible job with our wedding flowers. She created for us my bouquet, an amazing arch topper, 2 arrangements and cake decorations that took my breath away and made me cry the first time I saw them on my wedding day. It was as if she took the flowers I envisioned right out of my own head!Every step of the way Kelsie was professional, kind and attentive. The pricing was very reasonable and didn't have the price increase that most places have just because it's for a wedding. I also loved supporting a small business that I grew up right down the street from, and that Kelsie is following in the foot steps of her grandmother and doing an amazing job!I 100% recommend Russell Florist!

Not knowing who to go to in Shawnee, KS for a floral arrangement I did a little research and found Russell's. (Did you ever notice that the people that write reviews are usually mad? The pleased people don't stop and take a moment to give kuddos but I do.)Russell's Florist answered the phone (1-8-16) and helped me place an order for a funeral. After I got the order placed (professionally handled by Barbara) I got a call back an hour or so after and was told that they didn't have a particular flower and asked if it was okay to substitute another. I told them sure. I trusted them and all I can say is "WOW"! They went above and beyond making one of the most beautiful arrangements I have ever seen. Russell's sent me an email with the time delivered which was earlier than promised. Do Not hesitate to use this florist. Seems like all nearby florists rank about 3ish stars. Maybe everyone feels the way I do about florists--generally ripped off. I rarely patronize florists for that reason. On the occasion of a family member being hospitalized, I did receive good service at Russell yesterday. No complaint there. And as usual at florists, the arrangement underwhelmed. And today when one of the Gerbera daisies was clearly dead, Russell gladly replaced the ill bloom. But I still had to drive over and handle it. As it stands I am the brother-in-law who bright dead flowers to the hospital. For $54, that's a risk I will avoid. Florists, find a way to deliver delighting value rather than skim profit off the obligatory floral occasions. For now, I remain ripped off by this opportunistic industry. Have I offended any florists? Don't get mad. Prove me wrong. Please.

After looking over options online for a florist near Kansas City, I chose Russell. Their online presence gives basic information of what the typical possibilities are (I was sending condolence flowers to long-time family friends who recently suffered the loss of a dear family member). I called and was assured that they could put something together that would meet what I asked for - an elegant arrangement of mostly white flowers with some greenery and get it delivered today. IT HAS TO BE DELIVERED TODAY. I was confident that they were going to handle it with no problems as I hung up the phone. I got an email with my receipt right away, I later got an email that the flowers were on the delivery truck. This was Friday. I received word Monday evening (more than 72 hours later!) from our friends that no flowers had been delivered - the florist never contacted me or the home that the delivery was intended for. I called TUESDAY morning, they informed me that because it had been cold on Friday, they were unable to leave the flowers on the porch - no one answered the door when they attempted to deliver. 3 days went by and they never let me know! I believe they would have been pleased if I had assumed the delivery had been made.Anyway, without an apology, they offered to make the delivery today (Tuesday), and actually did what they promised. We were sent a picture by our friends of the "elegant" arrangement. I'm not sure Russell Florist knows what elegant is, but I wouldn't use that term to describe the daisies they sent. Total Fail. Save yourself the aggravation and randomly pick a different florist - you won't do worse.

Russell Florist worked hard to make me a happy customer! I live out of state and wanted to send an arrangement to friends hosting a party that I was unable to attend. I used to live in the Kansas City metro area, so I felt I should be able to order flowers online without any problem. I chose Russell Florist because of their proximity to Shawnee where the flowers were going to be delivered. My friend sent me a picture of the arrangement when it arrived. I also received and e-mail from Russell Florist saying the arrangement had been delivered. I was unhappy with the way the arrangement looked in comparison to the website picture. I contacted Russell Florist and told them I was disappointed. They immediately offered to redo the arrangement and substitute it for the first one. The second on was perfect. I appreciate their efforts at customer satisfaction.

The worst florist!spent almost $90 and was thrown in the trash when the woman got home. The person who ordered called an complained but they would do nothing!This was a very fancy luncheon at a private club. When the person received it someone said "now where are the real flowers?"

My husband pre-ordered Valentine's flowers for me to be delivered at work. He was promised a dozen flowers over the phone. I received 6 flowers. 3 sunflowers and 3 roses and more filler than needed. He called to complain and ask for a partial refund at best. We were told no refund was going to be issued. It looks like their facebook page has been shut off to customer posts and reviews, obviously other people feel the same way.
