Rudy's Pizzeria

My husband and I were looking for a good local pizza spot and we found it. This is a little hidden gem, off the road and downstairs to this interesting secretive /vintage restaurant. You go to the rear to place your order at the counter, we first noticed the Everyday Special $7.99 for a gigantic piece of pizza, drink and side salad. Now that is no joke and looked delicious. They have daily specials and happy hour specials. Since it was our first time in we wanted to eat pizza there and take pizza home, so we ordered a large Rudy, ghost pepper breadsticks, salads and drinks. The price was fantastic. The girl at the counter was really sweet and helpful. The pizza was delicious, their crust unique and ingredients fresh, very impressive. I highly recommend!!

Ordered delivery pizza and wings and couldn't have been happier!You have a choice of white or wheat crust, multiple sauce options, and plenty of toppings to choose from including vegetarian meats. The crust is tasty on its own, which is importantly to note. Combined with their classic sauce and cheeses, and you could eat that all day! We had basically a Hawaiian pizza, and drowned in flavor :-)The delivery was fast, the wings were piping hot, and the pizza was fresh, warm, and delicious.

Salad was fresh, wings were re-warmed. First time I've ever seen hubby ask for money back on the wings. Pizza was just ok. They made their crust but I think it was just lacking some olive oil or favoring to finish it off. Cute place, just needs to put more effort

Wanted a quick bite to eat. The ordered consisted of 4 slices (2 cheese, 2 beef). I was happy with the pizza. The total was $16.00 and the price was decent. I expected the slices to be pricey. The service was quick and fast. The ambience was good. I would go back and order a whole pizza. (Desserts are $5.00 and the portions are SMALL)

Rudy's pizza is done right! I used to have broccoli and cheese pizza at my hometown pizza place growing up, and this is the closest thing I've found. It was absolutely delicious and worth every calorie. Highly recommend this local pizza. They have so many options to create your own.

A neat little pizza place on Mass St that you have to go underground below street level to their main area, which gives it a neat little ambiance. Their standard pizza crust is a middle ground between thin and standard crust which gives the crust a crunch with just the right amount of chewiness but not overloading it with straight bread like a pan pizza. I honestly like their cheese blend pizza the best but any of the topping pizzas have not been a disappointment either. They do offer single slices but we have just always ordered a full-size pizza to split while eating in. The staff has always been friendly and has gotten our pizza out hot and fresh within a reasonable amount of time so there have been no complaints on that end.

Pizza was just "ok". Tasted like frozen pizza crust. Toppings were generous and staff was friendly. Salad seemed a bit wilted. Not a horrible spot just not up to par with some of the other competition on Mass Street.

Praise be to these delicious slices. My all time favorite pizza joint. This place rocks.I am an active pizza connoisseur and I have been enjoying their Za for years. Best sauce in the game let me just say that, and pair it with some wheat crust. Uughhhhh its the bomb! Don't sleep!

Place had my vehicle towed either though it was a spot away from their blocked employee parking. Staff was extremely rude and the manager wouldn't even talk to me about the situation.

I wanted to like this place because I love pizza and where it is located is convenient, but the food was no good. I got a veggie slice, a side salad and it was supposed to come with a pop which I never got. I did buy a beer separately, but I realized after I left that that meal was supposed to also come with pop. She asked what kind of salad I wanted, offered me choices and I picked the Caesar.. The salad was nothing but lettuce and croutons with some dressing. No olives, no cheese, nothing. The supposed veggie pizza was only onion and mushroom. There were no other vegetables on that pizza. Not green peppers, not black olives, nothing. Those are the standard things on a veggie pizza. The crust tasted like plain cardboard. It had no flavor at all. The service was fine, the restaurant itself was clean and the ambience is nice. I went because it looks like at some point in its history this restaurant had been given rave reviews and had even been the best of Lawrence. I'm guessing it's been a while. I won't be going back.
