Quick update. After a thoughtful email from the store owner, I hope to drop back in to RSVP if I'm back in the KC area. This time I'm sure I'll stay longer. Second chances are a beautiful thing.

Great little shop in the Prairie Village Shoppes. I needed some invitations for a party being thrown for neighbors moving to Charlotte and this was a great place to find them. I got lots of help from the gals working there. I love when the people working actually understand what retail is all about. It always makes me want to BUY more. Great place to order wedding invites, etc and the best part is that it's locally owned.

RSVP made me want to send thank you notes to every aunt, uncle, and friend of my mother's I had forgotten to thank in all the years I didn't care about cordiality. RSVP is a small village store that specializes in cards, stationary, and invitations, either stocked in the store-front or customized in the back with endless options. There were thank you's in every style possible, in every range of character you might be: a KU fan, a republican, a new mother, an old mother, a girlie-girl, a minimalist, a Vera Bradley connoisseur (they had entire shelves devotes to the woman's stationary.) RSVP catered to the 'hostess' in all of us, although, mostly for women - it really pulls on the strings of good, old-fashioned, apron-wearing, my husband's boss is coming to dinner-party, my cousins wedding is next week, I'm a perfect cute charming housewife. It stocked all of these cutesy coffee table reads titled: "Cupcakes!" and "A Perfect Thank You Every Time: A Guide to Writing Thank You's!"When I visited, I was greeted by a young woman working at the back desk - she was energetic and genuinely excited to tell me about their offerings - which was unusual to me - (I'm used to being ignored in PV mostly and expect to be so until about the time I grow my first gray hair.)I fear its merchandise maybe too specific, its clientele too few - I hope it can survive in the village.

Reluctantly wandered in here with the wife while we were in KC and it was actually pretty cool. While I had no interest in most of the little wedding and thank you card trinkets, there were a lot of cool candles, cook books, drink mix items, etc...The staff was really friendly as well. If your someone who likes to have parties or needs some cool invitations/thank you cards you would love this place.

If you are looking to purchase fine invitations or stationary in Prairie Village, RSVP is the shop for which you are looking. This store has a variety of preppy tchotchke, much of which features a monogram, for the home. Were you in search of a wine bottle stopper with your initial etched in glass? Search no further! The options for invitations, announcements, etc. are great. Whether you are looking for something classic, quirky, traditional or fun, the volumes of examples likely has the very format for which you are looking. The staff is eager to help you with your personalized product. After you have indicated your design and its colors, wording, etc., they will send you a proof via e-mail so that you may confirm that everything is to your liking. I actually prefer Bennett-Schneider's in Crestwood for stationary, invitations, announcements and the like; however, I like RSVP very much. It is a fine shop for purchasing gifts, and its location is convenient among the Prairie Village Shops.

I had a great experience with ordering my wedding invitations from RSVP. The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and professional! I am having a small destination wedding and was afraid that it would be hard to find something that I really loved in a smaller quantity. I met with the graphic designer and she did a wonderful job of creating something personalized and exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend RSVP for any of your stationary needs!

Received a cute gift from here so thought I would check it out since I am in need of quite a few gifts for the holiday season. Drove 20 minutes to get there. Once inside the store I was not acknowledged by anyone at any time. There was only one other customer in the store and the two clerks kept chatting with her. I wasn't greeted, asked if I needed help (despite the fact that I walked through and looked at everything they had---which isn't much) or even spoken to when I exited the tiny store through the door that was bedecked with a noisy bell. The inventory was nothing special. RSVP proved to be a waste of my time and not deserving of my business. Needless to say I will not be returning nor recommending this business.

I always try to support local shops. I went into RSVP a few days ago specifically looking for some small gifts and some cards. There was a sales associate engaged with a customer ordering personal invitations. Another sales associate (male) was behind the counter. I was there 20 minutes and I was never greeted, spoken to, asked what I was looking for, etc. I went next door to Tiffany Town and spent $12 on cards, drove down to Paper Source on the Plaza, found more of what I wanted and spent another $65.00. In both stores I was greeted immediately when I walked through the door. I love Stuff, Worlds Window and Shop Beautiful in Brookside. RSVP needs to step up their game. Too many other choices.
