Ehh. Not my fav park in the area, but full disclosure I'm not a frisbee golfer so there's not a lot to draw me in here. As a kid, we got a go-kart and this was the only place to legally (?) take that sucker out, so we had fun riding all around here causing mischief. Since then, it's always had a bit of an odd vibe.. maybe that's more specific to the neighborhood down the hill from it. There used to be this old house that was essentially boarded up and had monkey sculptures all around it. As if that wasn't enough, anyone who slowed down to look at it would have her come out and yell.. horror movie vibes. We also drove down that way one time but the bridge was out, and some drunk people playing in the streets shouted at us and threatened us if we didn't get out. So you can see where I'm not exactly feeling the area here. The park is what it is, a green space that isn't as well kept as other parks in the area, and has the dull white noise of cars whizzing by on I-35 in the background. It's fine for rec league softball and probably great for frisbee golf, but not a park I'd saddle up to with the family for a picnic.

I've randomly played ball out at Rosedale and I have to say that it's a nice park. They keep things clean and put together and there's something for everyone. The softball league out there is fun and the park is easily accessible. The only thing I think they could change is more parking. But you win some, you lose some.

Rosedale Park has one of my favorite disc golf courses in the city. Always busy, so make sure to come early to get started prior to other groups. They do have a down under course, which is usually much quieter than the main up top course. Course is challenging but very doable. I'll keep making Rosedale Park a staple in my disc golf circuit.

This is the disc golf capitol of Kansas City. I went to a barbecue for a friends birth day party. I met a lot of helpful and friendly people playing this sport out at the park. They also had base ball and kick ball leagues going. The park is exceptionally large and clean and has a coveted shelter area with a grill. As well as many flat grassy areas and wooded path ways to explore would come back here anytime. Oh and there is a skateboard park and tennis court.

The DG course is solid and fun. Very well maintained. The water fountain didn't work, but if you're not bringing water on a hot day, I'd say you're the dum dum.

This is my favorite place to play frisbee golf. There are two courses, an upper and a lower. One piece of advice, keep your keys secure...between digging my disc out of the woods (it had been awhile) and the many leaves that have fallen, they had fell out of my pocket somewhere along the way. However, most people that come here are not in a hurry, are chill, and it's a great spot for a large group or even just to come out solo.

Unfortunately most of my hobbies take place indoors. One that does allow me to experience the sun though is Frisbee golf and this park is a great spot to spend an afternoon throwing some discs around. As a very casual player this course offers a challenge while not being so difficult that it forces me to rage quit in the middle of a round. The 18 holes rope around the woods that outline the park.Rosedale also has a skate park and some baseball diamonds, as well as a pavilion/picnic area.

I used to play a lot of frisbee golf in high school here and it was always a good time. I'm so thankful that there's a park like this that allows our Sunday, sandlot baseball team to play, even under the lights. Parking is ample and the vibe is fun...lots of people when the weather's nice. Thanks for keeping this park clean and ready.
