Roscoe's Barbeque

My husband and I have traveled the country for the past 10 years. We have had our share of BBQ. The burnt ends were literally the best we've ever had (and we spent 18 months eating BBQ all around Texas).We actually had it for lunch and came back and got more for dinner.Very sweet family - especially Rpscoe IV.

I was so happy to see Roscoe's recently reopened. Best burnt ends and cheesy corn in KC and ribs are top 3 too. The spicy bbq sauce is pretty fantastic and a nice change from the sweet regular sauce. We always order to go and they are friendly and the orders are always correct.

This gem is an amazing find!!!! The burnt ends are like butter as well as the ribs! The pork pie is a flavor explosion for the tongue! 5 stars YUMMY!

Roscoe's closed in December 2022 due to owner retirement. Thankfully, a son and son-in-law have picked up the business. On my first trip back I was concerned that it wouldn't be as good. I had a burnt end sandwich with Krinckle cut fries. My wife had the pork pie. We both were pleasantly surprised with the quality of each. It was just as if they hadn't taken a year off. If you liked Roscoe's before (and so many people did), you'll like them again. Superb BBQ.

We last went there just prior to their closing a few years ago. We liked it then and decided to try it again because we were in the area. Absolutely did not disappoint us. We split a pulled pork sandwich and a large order of fries. The fries were the crinkle cut fries which we love and the pulled pork was moist and tender and smoky like pulled pork should be. Thanks guys for reopening, we WILL be back.

I almost hate to say it, but this is the best BBQ I've had in a while. I am an OTR trucker and I've been to a lot of barbecues. I've been to Joe's and Art's and B's, but this is gonna be my new stop in KC. I just hope that I can get there before they run out of burnt ends.

They have a great atmosphere, great food, and it is family friendly. The owners are there all day every day and they are very kind and good people. The time from ordering to receiving your food is very reasonable. The beef dinner is excellent. I got the cheesy corn and the baked beans!! Yum!
