One of the best experiences and food we've had in a long time. Roots did not disappoint. From the moment you walk in and being greeted, to the amazing food and service, to the best ambiance--all around great. Drinks were amazing. Deviled Eggs- wow! The burger was cooked perfectly, juicy, and the Benedict was so flavorful. Aubrey was excellent and very helpful. We can't wait to come back and try other things.

Tried Roots during Restaurant Week and felt like their food could have been better-- 2/5 at most. Their crab dip was soupy, the side seasonal salad was forgettable, the pasta was nothing to write home about, and the s'mores dessert tasted very strongly of just cream cheese. To top it off, during our experience, the fire alarm went off from the start of our second course ALL the way until our last course. I understand that Roots had no control over the alarms, but I would have expected our meal to be taken care of when the alarm was so loud that some people had to leave in the middle of their meal. We were offered a measly dessert coupon, but we won't be going back.

We visited during restaurant week and enjoyed a late lunch. Even though it was 3:00 in the afternoon, the place was busy, but they had plenty of staff and everyone seemed to be well taken care of. It feels very much like a neighborhood spot with a lot of regulars. We tried the Roots Burger and the Dill Dijon Salmon Wrap. The portions were a good size for lunch and we both enjoyed our choices. Glad we were able to try a new spot and the next time we are in the area, especially during happy hour, we would certainly stop again.

Dinner here is always good. Tonight, our server was Grace. She was lovely. She's the best server we've had at Roots in all our visits. We met friends for dinner as 2 of them turned 55 yesterday and my wife's birthday is in 2 days. I had the Duck Porchetta, which was lovely. My wife had the Shrimp Creole and she very much enjoyed it. I finished what she could not eat (mostly). It was really delicious! We also had the lobster deviled eggs appetizer. That's my go-to here as it's excellent! Everyone loved it. They have a nice wine selection and good bar. Grace forgot to bring the chili I ordered, but I didn't need it. We were all full. We will most certainly be back, as we live 8 minutes away and have been here several times. Our friends from KC and OP drove out and they all enjoyed Roots too.I suggest dining early, as the later it gets, the louder it gets.

We came here for brunch. I feel like my last review was removed. This isn't our first time here. Anyway... It was very busy as before. We made reservations and we're seated promptly. We ordered our meals. I asked for salt and pepper and it seems, they were unable to find them for us. Another table had some but they couldn't find anymore. It literally took the whole time until someone brought us some. We were leaving at that point. The food was OK. Chicken and waffles for the teen, breakfast bowl for me and hubs, and chicken tenders for the toddler. Not a bad place just don't ask for salt and pepper.

I liked how clean the ambiance was and how attentive the staff were. Everything was well presented and the food came out and a good pace. Their menu featured a lot of fresh ingredients and they told us it's a seasonal menu because the chef likes to take advantage of what's fresh and what might fit the mood based on the seasons. I would definitely stop in again.

Very much enjoyed dining here. Seasonal menus, great ambiance, and service was excellent. Highly recommend the duck tacos for an appetitezer. They offer a lot of seafood and fish on the menu, but they also have gluten free and other options depending on the season. Looking for a different drink? Try a New York sour which was recommended by the Bartender! It's a whiskey sour with a red wine float. It cuts the sourness with a smooth finish.

Love enjoying happy hour here! They have a very nice bar area. They have a seasonal menu, it's enjoyable to come in and relax and enjoy and custom cocktail! Their bartender is top notch He can ask you a few questions and come up with something so tasty! The potato skins with the buttery piece of salmon and the light cream sauce and spinach! They leave a nice amount of potato on the skin it a great share or nice light meal. There are more I can't wait to try!
