River Bluff Brewing is a gem of River Market! This is the kind of brewery to bring a large group of friends -- they have tons of seating indoors and outdoors. The space is huge and open and airy. I'm not sure I've ever the space packed to the brim, so it's a safe bet for a larger group. Their beer is awesome. They have some incredibly unique flavors (sour chocolate cherry and rosemary IPA, to name 2 favorites) that are constantly rotating and changing, so you can have a new experience every time. Their pours and flights are reasonably priced. They have little sheets to fill out for flights of 4 (with one extra glass for water). They have non-alcoholic options, including a very interesting hop water. You will not find kinder bartenders anywhere else. The service is phenomenal, and the bartenders are knowledgeable, passionate, and fun to talk to. For added fun, there are pinball machines. There is a food counter in the back corner that is currently occupied by Caldwell Burgers (which were very tasty and a perfect compliment to some beer), but they looked closed the last time I was in. I highly recommend making the journey to this cozy and fun brewery!

We live right next door and it's taken us a while to pop over with neither my husband or myself being beer drinkers. If you're like us, boy do I have great news for you: Their non-alcoholic/gluten free menu is chefs kiss! They have wines, seltzers, alcohol free brews, you name it! If you do drink beer, I heard several folks sounding very impressed by the beer list. They have flight cards you can fill out I saw tons of customers ordering. The space itself is clean, open, and welcoming. And the staff are a cut above. They are kind, knowledgeable, and attentive! So glad we have a nice space like this in the river market (and they serve food now as well)! They also have a patio which is dog friendly.

River Bluff has been on my to do list since they opened, but it took until this past holiday weekend to finally check them out. I really liked everything about the space in my short time there. The beer - I had a great Peanut Butter Hefeweizen. Smooth and flavorful. The space - open, large with lots of natural lighting, TV's but not loud, Pinball, lots of stuff to look at, historical river artifacts incorporated into the decor and lots of seating options including an outdoor patio. Food- they've leased space to Caldwell's Burgers owned by Guys Snacks. A solid burger, worth a trip in itself.Service - friendly and informative bartender.River Bluff - my new favorite brewery

Sometimes you want to go to a quiet place, grab a beer, and immerse yourself in the mysteries of quantum entanglement. This is not that place. If, on the other hand, you want to hang out with your boisterous gang of frenemies in the beautiful river market area and maybe cheer on the Royals to their next tricennial championship, then this is a great spot. It's a big open space with TVs everywhere, some couches and easy chairs if you're lucky enough to get them, and beer that is so delicious, you'll wonder if you've been transported to an alternate realm where there is nothing but happiness and free parking. Add to that the super friendly servers and I am like, dang, I need to move into a van by the river so I'll always be nearby.

Recently was in Kansas City for work and heard this was one of the places we needed to stop by interior of the bar was large with several tables scattered around as well as some TVs for sports ball viewing. They had a nice Tapp list with a nice variety of IPAs, ales, stouts and sours. Our bartender was super friendly and took great care of us. Only wish I had more time (and liver) to try more. Def would come back again!!

We love going to River Bluff for a chill early afternoon. River Bluff is part of the KC Pubb Pass. Many offerings of beers and new beers switch in and out. Options for non-beer drinkers include wine, sangrias from KC Wineworks, and pop are available. Lots of open seating available.

Really enjoyed River Bluff. Their River Cream Ale is easily one of the best beers I've had in KC. The other two I tried were quite good as well (PB & Hefe and Robin's Song). They have a nice interior that includes some pinball machines, ample seating, and a nice sized patio too. Music bingo was taking place when we arrived so they seem to have fun activities. Each beer I had was consistent quality and smoothness so I would definitely recommend. Friendly service with good recommendations.
