What a talented group of instructors and musicians who love kids and passionately share their love of music. Our kids have excelled through their leadership, learning perseverance and rewards. The investment we've made with REW over the years will be a lifelong gift to our kids who love music and who have seen the reward for their hard work.

This music store is a fantastic resource for my students and I recommend them to all my students. They have a great rental program, some of the best private lessons teachers in the area, and a really helpful and friendly staff. They are really passionate about music education and will go above and beyond to help local school music programs.

My son has taken private music lessons here, rented an instrument and been a member of their homeschool band. They genuinely care about all of their students. We have yet to have a bad experience with any instructor and the band leaders work long hours preparing students for concerts. They really have something special going on here. The prices for renting instruments and needed repairs were also very reasonable compared to other music shops. My son chose to take private lessons one night a week (so he could advance at a faster rate) and it was surprisingly affordable too.

My son attended 3-day exploring musical instruments! It was TERRIBLE! The instructor was condescending, arrogant, and discouraging to my son! He plays the piano well and is musical. This awful experience killed any interest he had in band. I would highly discourage anyone from using his company!

My son's trumpet had a piece from a cleaning brush stuck in it. Unable to extract the brush head ourselves, we took it to REW Music. They gave us a cost estimate (well over one hundred) and a date of 2 weeks to fix it. They also tried to tell us that our trumpet wasn't on the "approved list" of instruments at his school (there is no such official list) and tried to sell us a new trumpet. After 2 weeks, I called back to see if the repair was done. They hadn't started and also suggested it would cost more money and time. They also said they had called me, but hadn't. I agreed to the new $ and asked them to please hurry as it had already been 2 weeks. Another 3 weeks went by with no communication. I called and they still hadn't worked on it.. and were still suggesting other trumpets. Exasperated, I went there, picked up the trumpet, took it to B.A.C. Horn Doctor in South Overland Park who fixed it on the spot within 5 minutes... and at no charge! I'll never step foot in REW again. They're incredibly unprofessional at best.
