Retro Bowl

This place has fallen off. Food was terrible... pretzel seemed like it was a few days old and microwaved, the cheese had an odd smell.Chicken tenders were cold and covered with salt, the 300 Burger that use to be so good, was not... again way too salty.Drinks were great, surprisingly they haven't found a way to screw those up.... Yet.Don't do there very often, went there for a birthday party..... won't be going back.

Really not sure why this place gets hate. I have gone here multiple times. This place has amazing food pretty good customer service (or at least when I've been there.) and just has a really fun atmosphere and environment. Plus it's great for any occasion. 100% recommend

So idk if this place came under new management, and it has been over three years but this was July of 2021 I was 15 and I will say I was doing wild things for my age. As a person who graduated high school and whos getting their degree in a year and a half I genuinely understand it was the people I was around that put me in that situation along with myself. That being said....I've waited awhile to say something but as a 15 year old I knew an older delinquent that worked in the kitchen they were 16 and bad news. But I had at one point lost a cell phone and I remember the owner yelling at us for going behind the bar as she should have clearly that was justified. But at the time her arm was broken and I learned she was the owner. Short lived but I understand. After the place closed was a different story though. She had given us jagermeister and Red Bull. For me and my 16 year old female friend and male friend. Honestly questionable, but all in all I had fun for sure. Good nachos!!!!

Went during a weekday right at open and that is the way to go. Almost had the whole place to ourselves. The carpet is dirty, the place smells like cigarettes and stale beer, the shoes were old and crusty and the balls dented to hell. With that being said....I had a great time. This is everything I expect in a bowling alley (or ally ?) and it did not disappoint. I will be back!!

Make sure you call before going to Retro Bowl. I took my kids at 11:15 a.m. and there was a sign posted that they didn't have enough staff to be open.

Great vibes had a good time and I like the lanes. Good customer service. The drinks were also good

A male employee in a black shirt, dark hair was EXTREMELY RUDE and unnecessarily said the word 'fucking' twice in 2 separate instances to our entire group tonight. We did nothing wrong - we had a few buckets of beers and someone made the decision to put the bucket on the floor underneath the table to give us more room. Apparently, the bucket had leaked ice water on the floor and we didn't notice it. He directed his words at our group stating we had spilled something and didn't 'fucking tell him' and to 'fucking tell him before someone slips when they're bowling'. We didn't know their bucket was leaking at all.

Went here on a double date and got everything I expected from a standard bowling alley. For the four of us to rent one lane for two rounds (took about an hour) and shoes it was $60. A few of us got 300 burgers and fries which always live up to the hype. At 7 they turn off all the normal lights and it turns into a black light zone. There's lots of colorful lights flashing everywhere and loud music which is super fun but potentially overstimulating to some. We got there around 6 when it was semi empty but by the time we left around 7:15 it was packed, so reserve if you can or get there ahead of the crowd. Definitely our go to bowling place!

We threw my son's birthday party here and he had fun BUT they are understaffed and there was a wait in everything. I don't have a problem with that as I understand this seems to be the norm nowadays. The short-haired young lady behind the snack counter was running her butt off all night. The long-haired female was busting her rear end all night and actually ended staying past her time to go home because it was so busy. However, the short-haired, bigger young guy was so high that he was unable to form a proper sentence. There even was a question of whether he was getting high in the women's bathroom when he disappeared for quite a while when the staff was looking for him. He had an attitude problem and couldn't focus long enough to complete anything we asked him to. The manager, (possibly the owner?) was there and while all the craziness was happening, never came out to lend a hand to the employees that were actually working. When she did make an appearance, she was rude and short. I WON'T be having a party here ever again due to the kid that couldn't wait to get high until he got home and the rude owner-lady. It's a shame since my son had a good time.

Like a previous poster, the Retro Bowl snack bar used to be the place to get the best burger and fries in town. No longer. I ordered a 300 to go yesterday, which is a double cheeseburger with fries. The price board said it was $7.12 plus tax. The actual price was $8.17 plus tax. Too much trouble to put up the right prices?They messed up my order and had to re-do it. (That was the story I got, anyway) Meanwhile, other customers behind me were getting their orders. To his credit, he guy who took my order apologized and offered me a free drink but since I was getting it to go, I declined. I asked for crispy fries. They were soggy and mushy. No condiments or napkins in the bag. This may have been just the cook that day, who acted like cooking burgers was way beyond her skill level, but I will think twice before going back.
