Restoration Emporium

Visited the new location on The Plaza, zero customer service. Not once during our time in the store did someone say hello or welcome us. There were about six ladies working. One sat on a computer talking to the group of girls standing at a table talking. No one was walking around the store offering assistance to customers. (There were about 15-20 in the store.) When my mom tried to engage the group of ladies talking they had nothing to do with it. Their response was "Ha.." and then went back to their conversation. A customer was ready to checkout and the group of girls continued on with their conversation and one of them widened their eyes and pointed to the cash register with her head. Two of the girls walked away and the one left behind went to checkout the customer. I had something in my hand to buy and put it away. Terrible customer service.

This is my 1st visit to KC and I was staying in the Plaza area during Christmas so the Restoration Emporium was the perfect place to shop for Christmas. The store carried some very unique items refurbished and new items. I picked up a beautiful wooden circular Merry Christmas sign for only 28.00 which I thought was very reasonable. They had these awesome Christmas tree shaped made out of old doors very unique when I inquired if they shipped out of state as they were quite large unfortunately they didn't have the means to ship. Bummer! Anyhow, the store front display was very beautiful and carried some very fun unique items.

I've visited RE twice now; once on a First Friday, and the other on a regular Saturday weekend. Not surprisingly, there is a lot more to choose from on First Friday, but you will still see some neat things the rest of the month. The booths flow very nicely throughout all three floors. There are a few booths which are 'pinterest gone crazy', but for the most part, their things are fairly 'classic' looks, even if they are pinterest inspired. Customer service isn't too bad; some will ignore you, others will actively offer to help you without being pushy. There was ONE booth on FF that the vendor was more concerned about her clique and social activity than the customers who were trying to look at the items, so I ended up skipping it. Sadly, it's a booth for a store that I just love at their retail site.This will always be on my list to stop in.

VERY Cool Store. Wanted to buy everything!! I do recommend stopping in if you're in the Club Plaza area. They have Magnolia products and it's a lovely shop to walk around. Why the three stars? I browsed the entire store and not once saw someone who worked there. Also it was a bit pricey.

Shady area at night. Not a fan of the products. Pretty pricey for refurbished garage sale products.

Love this store! It's just like walking into an episode of Fixer Upper (at the end of the show)! ;) The store is filled with adorable furniture, home decor, and other cute little goodies. You will never leave empty handed. Just go, you will not be disappointed!

the owner of RE is very unfriendly, she has an attitude that she is entitled and thinks she has a prestige brand and it's not. I've witnessed some vendors taking pictures of customers and calling them squatters without them knowing. This is extremely inconsiderate since these are the same people providing their livelihood. the customer service was bad at the desk. And nobody was friendly. there's a lot of things that you would see at a craft fair at RE. if you are truly into antiques I highly recommend you go elsewhere. I give this establishment a thumbs down. if customers were treated like this at all of the west bottoms shops, I would never come down here again.

Love my RE t-shirts from SewKC. Also love their Mascot, Bella. And Stuart is cool too.

I LOVE this store! The owners are incredible people and the vendors do amazing stuff. Lots of variety to choose from.

Great customer service, Suzanne was very flexible and attentive to my needs. Love my furniture I will return!
