Red Fortune

This classic Chinese restaurant is a blast from the past in all the best ways. Every item I've had from their old school menu is always fresh and tasty. No gimmicks. Just great food!

I've been coming to Red Fortune since high school! It's my comfort food-- delicious sauces, soups, and noodles for a reasonable price. The restaurant is family-owned and operated. Service is quick, and you might even feel a little rushed, so it's not the best spot to linger. But their lunch specials are unbeatable. Less than $9 for a soup, entree, fried or white rice, and side of crab rangoon or egg roll! Lunch is served from 11 am to 3 pm every day except Sunday, when they're closed. The Moo Goo Gai Pan is my favorite because of the tender mushrooms, chicken, and water chestnuts. It also contains slices of carrots, snow peas, and onions. The white sauce is the best I've had.The Cashew Chicken's brown sauce is also super yummy. I'm not someone who goes out of my way to eat zucchini, but I always clear my plate with this dish, including all the veggies. There aren't any dessert options other than fortune cookies, so don't expect to satisfy your sweet tooth. But if you want to go home with leftovers and a full stomach for under $10, this is your spot.

I ordered from Red Fortune for delivery the other day for lunch. I got the spicy beef with vegetables, the lettuce wraps, and my lunch combination came with hot and sour soup and a crab rangoon!I'd never eaten here before, but I've seen lots of good recommendations and decided to trust my neighbors! The food was amazing, so much chicken in the lettuce wraps, just the right spice in the hot and sour soup, and the crab rangoon was creamy and delicious. The spicy beef with vegetables was a perfectly medium spicy as I'd requested, and the vegetables were crisp and fresh. My delivery came 10 minutes before it was projected, was perfectly sealed, and hot. I would definitely dine in if given the opportunity, but I will continue to definitely order carry out!

This is my favorite Chinese place. I could and have gone here multiple times a week. My boyfriend and I always get egg drop soup and split the combination fried rice and the sesame chicken. The chicken is one of the crispiest ones you'll get. It's always hot and the sauce is the perfect consistency. The flavor is there but not overwhelming. Their fried rice is also to die for, as it's very moist and flavorful. They're generous with the amount of chicken, beef, and seafood you get as well. The egg drop soup and crunchy things is also a great way to start the meal. Their soup is unique and unlike other egg drop soups I've had but I love it. The service and consistency here never fail to disappoint. They're quick and friendly. We aren't too close to Red Fortune but the drive is always worth it. I'd recommend eating there if you get any of the chicken and want it at its top crispiness.

You get plenty to eat and it's always tasty. Service is friendly and fast. It's our "go to" Chinese place.

We had the most incredible meal here! Everything was fantastic- loved the crab Rangoon, dumplings, and fried rice - if you are in the area, you need to stop by!

The food was good, ambiance as good as you can get at 2:30 pm. Our waiter was rather grumpy! He just had no personality and very short with us .

if i could give it 0 stars i would. food is gross and probably the worst chinese i've ever had. crab rangoon is weird and does not taste like it should or even have crab in it. and orange chicken is like soggy chicken nuggets swimming in sauce. also the wholeplace stinks and looks dingy.

Not good unfortunately, general Tso's is worst I've had, the chicken comes separated from the breading, the breading is soggy and not good. Not cheap either, will not be returning
