Raj Express Indian Kitchen

Wow! I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Excellent service, the environment is awesome and the food was amazing. I would highly recommend it! I am not an Indian food expert by any means but I am adventurous. I got a Thali Platter and chose 3 different entrees. Butter chicken Chicken Handi and Paneer butter misala. All three were excellent!

The ambiance was good. Food is fresh and made to order. They have a wide variety of dishes from veg to non-veg. The service was great, water is complimentary. I forgot my purse and server ran outside to hand it to me as I was about to drive off. My friend had a spinach paneer dish which was a first for me and delicious, my dish had a little too much tomato and was a little spicy but still good.

I am so glad that we moved down the street from here. It is so convenient to be able to order online and pick up affordable and delicious Indian food. My boyfriend and I are not super creative, so we order the tikka masala and butter chicken, but we have added some appetizers as well. The only thing I am not the biggest fan of is their naan. However, the portion sizes are large enough that I can do without it.

Raj Express has the best Butter Chicken I have ever had. It's perfect for my taste. Rich yet balanced. Food service was quickly delivered with hot food. I've only been into the physical location once but it was clean and staff was friendly. I mostly get delivery because it's convenient and fast. The next time I'm in, it's going to be Butter Chicken again.

Love the aloo tikki chat.Did not care for the Dahi balla (cold dumplings with mealy balls of ?).Still give this place 5 stars for being awesome.

Great food. Very flavorful & good portion sizes. The inside was very clean & casual had seating area. Service was very friendly & quick.

Where do I even start? One of the things Kansas City really lacks, is good Indian food. I feel like I have finally found The Spot to go! My husband, having worked in India for a few months, took the lead on ordering. He ordered quite a few things...Not only was everything delicious, but the service and ambience were also great. The gentleman who took our order and served us was so friendly. And the cleanliness of the restaurant top notch -- absolutely spotless! Can't wait to go back for more -- luckily, my leftovers should keep mefull for the next few days!

First time ordering from Raj Xpress, it was delicious would highly recommend this place. We had the butter chicken, some thing with paneer and a tomato pepper sauce the cheese and samosas. This will be our go to place for Indian food.

Food was quality/very good. Love the garlic nan. Plastic tableware. Found the prices high though for an "express" restaurant. I'd rather go to a sit down real plates/silverware Indian Restaurant for same price.
