We sent our children to Raintree from pre-k through 6th grade. My family is so grateful to have a school like Raintree Montessori in our community. We moved to Little Rock, Arkansas for two years when the oldest was in lower elementary. No Montessori school in that city came close in comparison to Raintree Montessori. We are more than satisfied with the education our children received in this caring, inclusive, nurturing, and positive learning environment. Both have graduated from college with honors. Our investment in their early education paid off with both students receiving academic scholarships. There can always be issues no matter the school. We simply work together to solve them, keeping the child's best interest in mind. We liked Raintree so much that I chose to work here. Now I help other families discover this amazing place to educate children.

We just switched our son to Raintree this fall, and so far, I'm happy...but more importantly, so is he.The campus is truly spectacular, encompassing a fishing pond (with paddleboats!), walking paths, a monarch migration section, gardens, pool, courts, shade, playgrounds....etcetera.The program is designed to have children of different ages working independently, yet supporting each other with the guidance and oversight of teaching staff. There's so much more to the Montessori approach to education, but certainly seek direct research on that topic.Raintree has an amazingly tight and supportive community of families, and the staff are just fantastic. I am looking forward to sharing our son's experiences here!

I went to Raintree from my toddler years through sixth grade. It is the HARVARD of Montessori schools. I could never express my gratitude for my years at Raintree. Wonderful, loving, caring, thoughtful teachers, leadership and staff. It is an exceptional school and a very, very special place.

Thank goodness for Raintree, it is truly an amazing place. The campus is gorgeous and magical. My pre-K son (4) started the program at the beginning of the school year and although the first two weeks of going to school for 6 hours a day was a transition for him after moving to the area, he is now excited to go to school every day. He has quickly adapted to the calm and caring enviroments and wonderful teacher and her assistants. I have noticed his thoughtfulness about his environment has heightened. He wants to help cleaning the house now, wants to practice his math and writing daily without any prompting, knows everything that is going on in school and takes responsiblity for his part. I find these qualities exactly what I want my child to be learning. Not only his academics but a love for learning, a caring for others and his environment, and a sense of healthy responsibility. The food and snacks are superior to that of any public school, so many fruits, vegetables, and homemade breads/mufins. My picky eater is quickly diversifying his food preferences which makes me happy! I just can not say enough good things about Raintree and am so happy we moved to Lawrence and found this unique and wonderful place for our son.

Raintree is AMAZING. My 3 year old has been in since January, and my toddler will start in the fall. The teachers are wonderful, our teacher has worked there for ten years, and her assistants have been there for five. It's such a peaceful and warm environment. They really teach the children to have good manners, and to be respectful - they also instill in them a sense of independence and responsibility. The campus is gorgeous - I want to stay there when I drop my son off. There's 5 pools, and in the summer my son gets to swim twice a day! There's a great pond, tons of huge trees and walking paths, great gardens - and every classroom has a garden path that they care for. The playgrounds are wonderful. The only tough part about raintree is the waiting list! I put my son on the waiting list as soon as I found out I was pregnant, and he wasn't able to get in until 2 1/2... but they're in the process of building two new toddler rooms, and now my baby will be getting in at 18 months. This is a wonderful, nurturing place for children and I would highly recommend it.
