I had no idea this place existed. It is a show room full of swing sets children can play on. I believe there is no cost for children under 18 months but it is $7.50 cash for all other children. Adults are free. There are two separate trampolines, a small basketball court, and 10 or so swing sets for the kids to play on. There are also benches and picnic tables along the outskirts of the play area. I did notice people were bringing drinks and snacks to eat, but note you cannot eat on the show room floor. This is a great spot to run off energy on rainy or excessively hot days!!

This is my go-to spot when it is too cold or rainy to go play outside. They charge a small fee to use their displays and play. Not only great fun, but each kid has passed out on the way home. Win win for parents! There is multiple swinger, trampolines, and even a basketball court! There is also a small room used to host parties as well. If it is a nice day, there are also multiple playsets set up outside.

Being a summer nanny, and it almost time to go back to school I feel like I'm grasping at straws to keep the kiddos entertained. This place is like a godsend, I tell you what. If you're like me and trying new things, especially ones that aren't completely mapped out, gives you anxiety, keep reading and you'll have no fear! Pulling in, you'll want to park in the show room entrance parking lot, and walk in the front door. When we went there wasn't anyone at the desk, but just hang out for a few and someone will be there quick. It costs $5 a kid (no adult fee, hallelujah and I paid cash (not sure if they take card). They ask you to sign in, and then walk down the hall and prepare for some fun! The big show room/playground wasn't air conditioned when we went, it was only 80 something in there, so it wasn't terrible. They had 12 massive playsets, and porch swing, trampoline, as basketball goals. The whole area has the chunks of tire pieces. I made the kids wear tennis shoes, and it was probably a good idea, I was in flip flops and the pieces kept getting into my shoes. We spent about two hours here, and could have spent longer, but had to get home to meet their parents. Come, you won't regret it!!!!

Rainbow Play Systems is also Rainbow Of The Heartland. The previous owners retired about a year ago and sold it to a really nice family! The Showroom offers a solid number of Rainbow Play Systems to try out if you'd like to buy. The Sales person is very knowledgeable and personable. They also offer Pay-To-Play, Monday through Friday from 10:00-4:00pm for $7.50(cash or check only) for children 18 months and up. Of course younger children are welcomed, they just aren't charged. Tennis shoes and socks are the best choice. Many nursery schools also have play dates there, the Indoor Showroom is HUGE! They also have a private party room you can rent and the schedule fills quickly for Saturday Parties. Their Rainbow Play Systems offer a life time warranty on the structural integrity - it's included at no additional cost, proper upkeep is a factor. Rainbow Play Systems have been around since 1984 and their plant is in Brookings S. Dakota (since 1993).

What a great concept! This is actually a show room to showcase the rainbow play systems but they allow children to come and play for only $5! My under 2yr old twins have so much fun it's easy to spend 3hr there! The bathrooms are a bit grungy but it's a warehouse so I wasn't expecting the ritz. He put shredded tires on the floor as a cushion for landing off the slides. So no strollers because you won't be able to push through it.

Had my daughter's birthday party here. Flexible to work with, open area with lots of space. Trampolines and a smaller basketball court. Lots of equipment for the kids to test and play on-we did a piñata outside.

A great place to take the kids to burn off energy indoors when the weather isn't conducive for playing outside. Inside there are Two trampolines, two basketball hoops, and multiple swing sets. My almost 4 year old loved it! We went after lunch time and it was just a few of us there, maybe 3 others.A few other things to note- Its affordable, especially if you get a punch pass. The staff was friendly! It was a little hot in there, around 75. So even if its chilly outside dress in shorts!

James and the team at Rainbow did a great job coordinating with us on the installation of the basketball goal and play set. They made great efforts to ensure the items we purchased were installed prior to a Birthday Party at our house.

This is a great place to bring kids on a rainy day. We had a 4 year old and 2 year old and they loved it. Passed out right when we sat in the car. It wasn't crowded, huge area so the kids didn't really need masks. Will definitely be back!
