R Park

Great outdoor and meeting place! The renovation was SO worth it! Our kids enjoy the playground and the "street" surrounding their play space; they love riding their bikes and using their scooters here. The two restrooms are clean, but hot. Enough space for soccer, basketball & tennis :)

Sometimes good things come in small packages.R Park is small, about four square blocks, but it packs a lot into its space.It has a pavilion, tennis courts, basketball courts, a playground and lots of green space. It's a perfect place for a picnic, a family get together, to toss the frisbee, play pickup basketball and / or soccer and then some.I like the walking trail that circles the area. Three laps is about a mile.Parking is available. Bathroom facilities are, too.
