I like this place a lot. Now, it's not the best park in the city, and the playground is perfectly adaquate - not blow your socks off kind of engineering. It has a sand volleyball court, and a fine double-grill shelter. But the field and the GIANT SYCAMORE is the crown jewel of this park. The adjoining field is flat, large, and by the looks of the ground, hosts MANY nerf-gun competitions. But my score falls firmly on the beautiful white sycamore nestled squarely at the entrance. It's gorgeous! It's probably over 100 years old, and is about 150 feet tall. Looking up from the bottom, you'd swear you were on a giant schooner bound for land. It enormous, and if you or someone you love likes trees, it's one of the nicest, most humbling ones in all the city.I promise you, it'll make you feel small. It's a wonderful thing to see - reminds me of California. Great park - could be a little cleaner though. You know, for the Sycamore.

This place has really good sand volleyball courts! There are lines that come with the courts and plenty of trees to help with the sun and heat. We play here at least once a week for volleyball and it's one of the better ones. Parking is pretty convenient as well with plenty of spots to park. There is a nice sized shelter by the courts and a nice playground just a few yards. I've not ventured much into the park with this one though so can only give a review of the sand volleyball courts. So if you're looking to play volleyball, this is definitely one of the better places to go and it's free!

Clean park with plenty of room to exercise. There are two volleyball courts located here. Playground is a bit small for the size of the park, but nothing unreasonable. There is plenty of green around, and the air is quite clean. My team needed a place to practice and we've chosen this location due to its practicality.

This beautiful park features two sand volleyball courts, a shaded play area, a large, reservable picnic shelter, restrooms, a drinking fountain, and plenty of dedicated parking. The park is a good access point for the nearby Indian Creek trail. There is some traffic noise from Quivira Road, but still some sounds of nature.
