Private Stock-Variety Dance Band

Recently, I had the opportunity to work with the Private Stock Band on an August 30th wedding. The band and bandleader Mark did everything imaginable to make this wedding a success! Mark MC'd the whole night and went above and beyond helping with table dismals for dinner and crowd control all while announcing the traditional cake cutting and so on. The thing that truly impressed me about the band was their flexibility to go with the flow. Things run behind and off schedule on wedding day and the band was very professional handling the timing changes while reordering their playlist to accommodate us. They also have a dedicated sound guy to insure music is the right volume for cocktails, dinner, and dancing allowing for people to sing along, dance, and carry on a conversation all at the same time. Private Stock Band is a great band for all ages! Truly the best part about Private Stock Band was they learned the special request first dance song "something beautiful" in three days making the bride, groom. Mother of the Bride, and this wedding planner VERY HAPPY! Private Stock Variety Dance Band is amazing! Do yourself a favor and hire them now for your next event!

Unbelievable band. My guests are still raving about the music. They are fantastic, interactive and kept our guests on the dance floor for the entire night. No one could believe they were as great as they were!! Hire them and you wedding is a confirmed success.

Private Stock played at our wedding in September! They are so so so much more than a band...they coordinated every aspect of the wedding.It all started by meeting with Mark prior to the wedding to customize the whole night, we talked about the ceremony, playlist, the bride/groom introductions etc. Mark has a sense of confidence, passion and experience for his work. He is a listener, and he understood how we saw the night going. The band seamlessly took/lead the (250 person) crowd from cocktail hour, to the ceremony, to the second cocktail hour, thru the dinner (we had buffet style so they dismissed each table)...they proceeded to kick off the speeches with kick-ass introductions for each speaker, those introductions were a surprise to us but it was crazy how they got the crowd involved - they played "tomahawk chop" before my father-in-law spoke. We did the first dance, father/daughter, mother/son dances...and from then on out the dance floor was full (I wish we would have had a bigger floor). The band had a way of gauging the crowd and keeping them involved. Whether it was the whole party rockin' out to "Wagon Wheel" or slowing it down with Lisa singing "At Last" (pretty sure my wife was in tears). I could go on and on about each song but overall it was impressive with how well they knew the pulse of the crowd. Finally, the band closed up the party and lead out my wife and I. They were the beat of the party, they were the reason that the transitions were clean. When you have a large crowd, you worry about "herding cattle" and progressing the night....that was all handled. Ultimately what I am trying to say is, Private Stock is more than a band. Looking back we cant picture that night without Private Stock. We can confidently say, it would have been a completely different wedding without them. Mark/Lisa and their team are truly professionals, this is not their first wedding/performance...and it is so worth it.

Our wedding would not have been what it was without Private Stock! My family and I could not say enough good things about this incredible band. From opening the night by surprising me and singing my favorite song of ALL time (Rhiannon, by Fleetwood Mac) to ending the night with the entire reception joining in and singing Wagon Wheel... they made my wedding dreams come true! Private Stock is so personable and interactive with every guest at the reception and our dance floor was literally packed the entire night! It is truly impressive with how well they are able to feel the vibe of the crowd and know just when to play a mix of old music and new. We received so many compliments throughout the night on how incredible of a band they are and we are STILL receiving compliments and asking for their contact information to this day. Not only did the band do a fabulous job at entertaining everyone at the reception, Mark also could not have impressed us more with MC'ing the entire cocktail party and wedding reception! From day one of booking Private Stock, Mark and his team could not have made things anymore easier for us, from constructing a playlist to really helping us lay out our vision for the entire evening. They are so professional, full of energy, and made us feel comfortable and at ease throughout our entire wedding planning process. Private Stock is so dedicated and passionate about making your special night one that you will always remember. I cannot say enough good things about Private Stock and I could not imagine having had any other live band at our wedding other than them! Hands down, Private Stock made our entire night more magical than we could have ever dreamed of and we truly will never be able to thank them enough!
