Primrose School of Shawnee

Our daughter has been at Primrose since she was 5 months old. She's now 3! The most impressive thing about the school is how much she LEARNS there. Primrose isnt just a daycare, it also facilitates so much of her learning and growth. She always surprises us with the knowledge she comes home with. I'm really appreciative that she kickstarted her schooling with Primrose.

it was about the said teacher we were having issues with. My In-laws picked up my son early for a doctor's appointment and the said teacher was caught in the action of yelling/screaming all the obove at my child for kissing friends ouchy (I agree should not do that for germ purposes) and our child was in tears when picked up. Then when said teacher was leaving told my in-laws that they caught her on an off day.I had a phone call with the owner and talked for a good bit. She acknowledged that they had in the notes that we were not comfortable or what not with the particular teacher being in his room. I have a recording of my conversation with my son the sound of fear was in his voice and for a good bit was very timid. This is a kid who is all smiles even after as an infant of having open heart surgery. I finally took it to corporate because the meeting we had with the owner and 2 other staff members did not go well at all.This had caused issues with my job. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Our family was lucky to find Primrose when it opened in 2019. First our 2 year old daughter attended, and then eventually our newborn son. I was initially nervous about a large center, but felt at ease after touring and meeting the staff. We have loved all of the teachers and the bonds our kids have formed with them.My daughter started kindergarten last year at our local elementary school and her preschool education at Primrose definitely gave her an advantage. She still loves talking about her old school.

Our family started at Primrose when they opened their doors in 2019. Since opening, we have sent 3 children to the school and have always been over the moon about our decision. When my oldest started kindergarten after completing Primrose's pre-kindergarten program she knew 60/100 Fry Sight Words when the goal for first quarter was to know 20. This trend continues as our youngest two children come home everyday and have learned so much! We are always so impressed to see and hear the things that they know. But beyond that, they have become like family to us. We could not imagine anyone else caring for our children. We are so lucky to have our family at Primrose School of Shawnee.

My child was at a Primrose School for the past 2 months.We've had multiple instances where my child was feeling singled out for punishment. We have gone through the proper channels and no result, we decided to remove our child from the School, we verbally provided a 2 week notification (to the owner) with the expectation that we would be refunded our prepaid tuition past the end date of said Notice. They refused to refund our money.

We have been with Primrose for the last 3 1/2 years. The teachers are wonderful and really care about our boys. They also have a structured well-rounded curriculum which is setting up our boys for success when they start Kindergarten. We are very thankful for Primrose and its staff!

I have been working at the Primrose School of Shawnee for over 4 years and love it!! All the teachers here are so passionate about what they do and love their students! You can tell the teachers and support staff value what they do. Mrs. Lewis has been the best owner who is caring, encouraging, helpful, and supportive not only to the teachers, but to the students and families as well. Her dedication and hard work has framed the foundation of our school! I have not met someone as caring as her. The leadership team is always there for you and supportive. The students and families that come here are what make every day so amazing! Teaching and caring for all the children in the school is the most rewarding thing. I have adored the last 4 years and can't wait to spend many more here at the Primrose School of Shawnee.
