We had a great lunch for restaurant week. The space is really pretty although there is just a small space to wait for a table. (Hint: make a reservation!)The bolognese was tasty, so was the tomato soup. The salads were fresh and the fries were crispy. We went all out - cocktails and beer selection was solid. $16 for a cocktail is definitely a treat though. I will probably skip next time. The fruit crumble was a nice dessert for a very cold day.Looking forward to trying something else next time!

A friend and I came here for restaurant week. First time I've been here. Very nice atmosphere. Loved all the artwork. I ordered the Mediterranean salad. Was very good with artichokes, red onion, olives, tomatoes, cucumbers and feta with a Greek vinegar dressing. It tasted very fresh. Then I had the prima Smashburger. That was excellent with caramelized shallot aïoli, shredded lettuce, pickles and white cheddar on a brioche bun. The fries were seasoned perfectly and were just like I like them crispy on the outside and soft on the inside.I was very full after having the salad and the burger.I'll definitely be back. It's nice living four minutes away.

A snowy day had us able to stop at this corner shop that we've been wanting to try since they opened this past fall. Super cute use of space of the old bank, immediately relaxes you. The vibe was chill. I went in initially to try a coffee, always on the hunt for a good cup, but their menu had me ordering a Boba. (Yes, I might have an addiction at this point.). Prompt service at the counter. One Matcha Boba and one Espresso Brown Sugar Boba. First sip Love! Not overly sweet. Perfect. Actually taste as it should. Perfect. Slowing down my sipping to savor. Perfect. I look forward to trying them again in the future.

My wife and I were impressed by our first meal at the new Bistro at Prima Facie in downtown Parkville. The rebirth of the old Farmer's Exchange Bank building is truly amazing. When you enter the building, you'll walk on the tile from the old bank and have a nostalgic moment from the past. But once inside, everything is sophisticated and upscale. A party of eight can dine inside the bank's old vault. The stunning bar appears to be a mile long. The Bistro's menu features steaks, pasta and seafood, all served with a farm-to-table freshness and creativity. Entrees are priced from $22 to $38. We only scratched the surface of the menu tonight, ordering the Ahi Tuna Poke and the Bistro Steak. Both were super flavorful and perfectly prepared and plated. We must have had a sweet tooth, because we ordered two desserts: the Phyllo Brownie and Blueberry Cobbler. Both were decadent. My wife's great grandfather started Farmer's Exchange in the early 1900's. When we first got married, we were customers of the bank. But over time, the bank changed hands several times before it was vacated. Leon and Heather Versfeld are the visionaries behind Prima Facie. We are excited to see what additional development in downtown Parkville will follow their lead. We enjoyed meeting Heather and GM Aaron Walker during our visit. They were proud hosts and awesome tour guides. The Bistro's sister restaurant, the Market, opened in September and is located in the bank's old drive-thru location. It serves a casual breakfast and lunch menu.

Such a beautiful new place in Parkville! The atmosphere makes you feel like you're in a movie --so chic and thoughtfully curated. The cocktails were delish --on the more expensive side. Can't wait to try the food next time. Jordan was an excellent bar tender and Bryn and Ceila were great hostesses. Thank you!

We had a 7:30 reservation for four people , arrived at 7:20. Was told to wait in lobby near piano we did a server walked by asked if we wanted cocktails and we did order cocktails. We ordered 2 lavender cocktails and old-fashion's . Approximately 7:35 the hostess came and told us our table was ready. We told her we had ordered cocktails and she said one of us would have to wait there, so one of us did and when the drinks arrived, they collected the drinks and came to the table to join the rest of our party. that is one thing I did not agree with I think the host should've said that they will bring the cocktails to the table instead of having one of our party members wait there by himself. We had a Caesar salad chicken noodle soup, a flank steak also had crabcakes, meatballs and the ravioli. Our servers name was Nick and the service was fast and the service was good. One of our person in our party did ask for ketchup and it seemed like a long wait when we asked the second time the waiter said that they had run out of ketchup. A few minutes later he did bring some to the table. For dessert, we had crème brûlée and the peach cobbler.. the flank steak was excellent and also the truffle fries very good. I would not recommend the chicken noodle soup. It was kinda greasy and the chicken tastes over cooked kinda like cardboard. The ravioli was good. The cocktails where good. It was a Sat. Night so kinda busy, was very loud. The bathrooms where clean and nice however kinda small for the amount of people in the restaurant only two stalls in the women's and only one stall and one urnal in the men's. There was a baby changing table in the women's bathroom. The portion sizes where kinda on the small size. The chairs where padded blue velvet and felt they where comfortable. There is not a lot of parking but we found a spot ok. I liked that they left a big water caraf on the table. The lighting was nice and soft .

Been going to happy hour at Prima multiple times. It is a wonderful time. Food is great. Drinks are great. But not this time. The bartender was not so great. She was not friendly or nice. Will not go back while she's working, but the other bartenders have been wonderful. 2/25/2025
