Premier Laser Spa of Kansas City

I was apprehensive to attempt laser treatment again since my first experience was a few years ago at Spa Catalina and was not only unsuccessful but very painful. I had a consultation with Sara Sharnowski. She was very kind. She explained the type of lasers Premier uses and the process of the hair removal. She also checked my hair to see if she thought I was a good candidate. She said I was, so I took the plunge. I got my first treatment immediately after my consultation. Amy Cygan was the laser technician and she was VERY knowledgeable and thorough and the pain wasn't bad at all.When I got home I started freaking out that I dropped so much money in one day and I actually thought about just paying for that first session and getting my money back on the next 8 sessions I prepaid for UNTIL 5-7 days later my hair started falling out. It was amazing. My skin is SOOO much smoother and I would say I have 50% less hair after 1 treatment. I am truly impressed and feel like I made a great investment. I would highly recommend this clinic for hair removal.

Do some research and save yourself a few thousand...yes I said THOUSAND dollars. I'm sure that this place does a fine job at removing hair, but why would you go here when you can get it done for so much less somewhere else? They claim that the cheap places don't use real lasers but after calling around and getting consultations elsewhere I've learned that just isn't true. I've found multiple places in the KC area that use the same machines for so much cheaper. This place quoted me $4500 for one body area and I've found multiple places quote the same area for $500. If you're looking for a place to waste your money then go ahead, otherwise do some research and save your money! Don't let them scare you into not looking elsewhere.

I was disappointed with the lack of customer service. If you travel or have the possibility of relocating, forget getting a refund. 4000 is chump change to them, but it's hard earned money for us. I'm sad this company is not more sensitive to that. Now I'm just uncomfortable getting treatments done there because of how rude the owner was about my situation. I'd be more willing to give a better review if they even tried to work with me.

I went for my free consultation last week and have my first appointment tonight. The tech who did my consult, Amy, was very informative and didn't pressure me to sign up (even though I did without hesitation!). She made me feel really comfortable talking about a personal subject and answered all of my questions fully. Relaxing but clean and professional atmosphere. I would recommend it to a friend!

This is where I used to get my treatments done. Since there are other options in the city, I started looking around for a less expensive place and I found one on the Plaza. I might have stayed with Premier, but I was getting tired of always having to wait for my appointments and I felt that the ladies at the desk were snobbish and kind of rude sometimes. Anyway, I'm glad I switched!

Paid the pricey package for hair removal on my face and neck area. After 9 trips down to the city (almost 200 miles round trip) this did nothing. In fact, since you have to shave the area, I now have more hair then when I started. And since the laser burned me several times, I have dark spots around my mouth and chin area. It might work on other areas of the body just fine, but really consider before doing the face area. I'm not stuck with having to pluck twice as much if not more hair then when I started!

The service I got here was insanely awful. I checked around a few places alone to see which I liked the best. When I decided I liked the prices best here I wanted to take someone in with me to help me make the final decision. However this place threw a major fit and absolutely refused to let me bring someone. I had several arguments over the phone with the receptionist and the manager. Also called their corporate office several times to complain and figure out why I couldn't have one simple request fulfilled. Someone at corporate told me the regional manager would be in touch with me and I never heard from this company again. I still have no understanding of why they would not let me make a second appointment for information. I figure they must be hiding something. After all I was about to spend $4000 with them (enough to buy a car or boat or something else major). I was so upset I decided I wouldn't do any hair removal treatment at the moment because I just couldn't trust a company to use lasers on my face when they couldn't give me the time of day!

I had relocated to KC from Des Moines and didn't want an entire package. They did try to sell me a pkg but were willing to do a one time touch up. Very professional technician.

Don't waste your time! This place is a total scam. I went in for my free consultation after hearing about it on the radio from Meredith and Slim Fast. They are running a "buy 1 area get 2 smaller areas free" special. So I wanted legs for my large area, and bikini area and underarms as my 2 free areas. During my consultation, I changed bikini area to a brazillian, which actually made it my large area because that costs more than legs. The numbers: Brazillian $700 per treatment, times 8 treatments = $5600. They showed me what the "free" areas cost to show me how much I am saving. Legs $600 times 8 treatments = $4800, Underarms $500 times 8 treatments = $4000. So I am really getting a good deal to get all 3 areas for $5600! And I could save $700 if I sign up the same day, and use their financing company. It would only cost $4900. Using the financing company, my payment would only be $275.50 for 18 months. What a rip off. I could pay $70 an hour for electrolysis on those areas and it would be cheaper. And as I was telling the lady how that is way too much money, she said she could do 50% if I just want on area. So you are really not getting a "sale" either way. Stay away from this place.
