I don't have a membership at this studio, but I love to attend drop-in classes. This studio has taught me so much - in fact, I learned the basics here that have kept me going as a yoga lover. I have been going on and off here since 2018 (pre-pandemic). Once we were able to attend classes again, I was very impressed by their dedication to keeping their clients staying safe and feeling that they were in the right hands. I have been attending classes - a few of which are free! They have 2-3 classes a week that are free to introduce you to the studio and to the art of yoga! Following their social media and keeping in touch with the studio will help you figure out when these classes happen. One of my favorite classes that this studio has to offer is "sculpt." They incorporate weights into a traditional yoga setting. This turns the class into s a full-body workout. As a male, there are times where I may not "fit in" to yoga and fitness classes, but here I felt welcome. I feel that this is a workout that other males may also benefit from. They have sessions throughout the entire day. Be sure to check the schedule and plan ahead of time as spaces fill up.

I spent the summer in Kansas City and when I asked for hot yoga studio recommendations in the area Power Life came up quite a few times so I decided to get a week pass. I'm not new to yoga, I'm not new to heated yoga, I'm not new to HIIT. I attend 3-5 heated vinyasa classes a week when I'm home. I signed up for a midday "Hot Yoga" class, literally, that's the name of it. Were there some references to yoga poses? Sure...but that was the extent of the yoga element. The class was heated, so they got that right too I suppose but this was not yoga. There was no emphasis on the breath or correctly getting into poses and utilizing your strength. If you want a HIIT workout and to "feel the burn" then this is the class and studio for you. If you're hoping for heated, thoughtful, meaningful vinyasa this is definitely not the spot. I didn't love the "pep" talk the teacher gave as class got started either, "what are you hear to sweat away today? What are you working for?" Yikes. The people working were friendly and the gal teaching was well meaning I imagine and kind, I'm sure she's not in charge of naming the classes or writing the descriptions.Parking was easy. The studio was pretty and clean. Large locker rooms too.

I recently moved here from LA, where I (disclaimer) taught hot yoga for seven years. This studio is clean and actually reminds me of one the studios that i taught at, although not quite as hot. The staff is friendly and the teachers that I've had are very good. I'm guessing that they can't currently give any adjustments due to COVID? The main reason that I gave it four starts is that it's been a little challenging finding the classes that I want to take that fit my schedule and usually, when I do, it's a 45-minute class. I do really like this studio A LOT, though, and plan on making it my go-to whenever I can.

I cannot rate this studio high enough. I have been going to every type of class here for about a year and a half and it has been so worth it. I have never been in such good shape, and especially - I always have a nice warm place to come in the Winter season!!I was a trade member here and able to afford the classes more easily - fitness is so crucial to mental and spiritual health! Train your mind and your body flourishes! Be good - be you - be at peace here.

I decided to take my first ever cardio barre class here, and, let me tell you, it definitely gave me the kick in the butt I needed! The workout was heated (85 degrees) and intense! My thighs were burning the whole time! The class does use a few ballet terms (first position, releve, etc), but the instructor always explains what they mean/demonstrated so you can follow along. The instructor was also great correcting everyone's posture and keeping the class motivated so we can get the most out of our time there. The facility at the south plaza is also very beautiful! Very clean and polished. The studio and equipment looked new as well. This all added to the relaxing yet clean and comforting environment power life yoga provides. Overall, I really enjoyed my time at power life! It was definitely a great way to try a new workout to my normal exercise regimen. I definitely would recommend trying their classes out since beginners get a free week and they offer other corporate deals for a free month as well. (Because who doesn't love trying new things for free?)

I absolutely LOVE Power Life! My favorite instructor is Malcolm -- his Sculpt and Barre class is so much fun and an excellent work out! They are always running specials and doing fun things around the studio -- like pop up free classes, and a fun bingo game to try out new classes. You get to try it out for a week for free with no strings attached! So if you are unsure about it, try it out first! I promise you'll be hooked!

I haven't tried it yet but it's open on a Sunday, which many Yoga studios are not and thats not smart because it's a day off for working customers Also this was the first place I found online with a restorative Yoga class which I needed due to an injury.

Great studio for anyone new to yoga, especially since power life offers a free week to try as many classes as you like. I visited both the plaza and Corinth locations and they were both inviting spaces, clean and well kept lobby and locker rooms. Each location has a large and small studio with classes in each. The large studios at each location had a great atmosphere - plenty of space and lots of windows with a comfortable floor. I really disliked the classes I took in the smaller studios though, as they were windowless and felt cramped in a full class. Each instructor I had was welcoming and knowledgeable. Classes were challenging and easy to pick up the flow or scale as needed. Power Life offers a wide variety of classes for a yoga studio, with a ton of schedule options. That's one of their biggest selling points that sets them apart from most other yoga studios, to me. My favorite classes were the power yoga 1.5 - nice, challenging flow - and the power sculpt - a good strength/yoga/cardio hybrid. I could do without the "community question" at the beginning of class as it just feels forced. And I had mixed feelings about the stories the instructors shared at the start of class. I like setting intentions, which is where their stories ended, but sometimes when I make it to class I want to start moving already! Same thing with announcements at the end since you end up hearing them over and over if you take classes frequently. Overall, lots of good things here and no doubt this studio will fit a lot of people's exercise needs well.
