Pleasant Valley Baptist Church

We started going to Pleasant Valley Baptist Church about 3 yrs ago. My husband and I hadn't been to church in many yrs so we just started going to a different church every week. We live right by Pleasant Valley Baptist and saw it all the time, but I wanted a smaller church. We did attend a smaller one for a few months and just were not getting what we were needing spiritually. Finally, out of frustration I told my husband that maybe we should just "try" PVBC"...Well, praise God!! It is a large church but really cares about its parishioners. Has many different classes and events that you can get involved in....the Minister, Merle Meese is certainly blessed by God. It's as if every sermon is aimed directly at me.... Merle never makes you feel like you arent good enough and he always has a funny tale to tell... usually about himself. Its a "come as you are " place. My heart is "full of the Lord" when I leave. And the worship service is amazing. If you are looking for a fun and fulfilling church, try PVBC. What can it hurt? If it's not your "cup of tea", at least you checked it out.

In the winter time the have an indoor walking track for the community to use. I really like their Upward basketball program for youth.

This has been my church for 18 years. The staff and everyone that volunteers here are amazing. If you are looking for a church home I could not suggest a better church than Pleasant Valley!

We've been going to PVBC since forever. It never seemed like a big church. Always something to do or learn. Our small group is great and Merle is fantastic.
