Pizza Tascio Overland Park

I usually go in depth but this should be easy enough to articulate. This pizza was so good that we decided to order another pizza for delivery after my friends and I finished the first one because it was that top notch. Easily the best pizza I've had so far in KC and it's really not that close. Good delivery times snd top notch pizza options. Don't miss out

I've been coming to Pizza Toacia for a long time and usually love it here, but tonight was a totally different experience. The staff seemed short and kind of rude, which was a big change from the friendly vibe I'm used to.To top it off, they gave us the wrong pizza, and I didn't realize until I got home. I live 15 miles away, so I tried calling them to sort it out, but after 20 minutes of no one picking up, I gave up. The last thing I wanted was to drive all the way back and then wait another half hour for the right pizza. Honestly, it was a really disappointing night, and I'm not sure if I'll be back anytime soon.

Good NY style pizza but issues with quality control. Take out pizza was burnt one week,fine the next. Go every week and for third time smoke filled and door open. Makes seating are extremely cold. For the money it should be perfect everytime.

The Hubby and I came in for a few slices. We both got the meal deal with 2 slices and a drink. There was only 1 other person was there for pick up. The crust is good the flavor was okay. This place is super laidback and it's pretty colorful inside. It's in a shopping center. We've been here a couple of times. If you're craving New York style pizza you'll like this place. The staff was nice and efficient. We'll probably be back to try different kinds.

We got the margarita pizza + pepperoni for take out. Was ready on time, definitely thin and crispy, perfect New York slice of pizza.Except..So, we got the Margherita. There weren't crushed tomato's and fresh basil. It was some shredded cheese with ricotta dollops. The added pepperoni was an additional 6$. It was fine, but the ingredients used for the Margherita was pretty limited. The entire pizza cost us nearly 40$... which is insane to me.

It's crazy that more people aren't talking about Pizza Tascio in conversations about great pizza around Kansas City because this is hands down my FAVORITE pizza in the city. The New York style pizzeria really hits the spot for anyone that likes that style of pizza, and it's strangely better when you purchase a single slice and dine-in than if you purchase an entire pie. My recommendation is the Spicy Pepperoni as it's the perfect combination of sweet and spicy with cupped pepperoni. Pizza here is pricier than your basic national chain pizzas, but that's because you get a MUCH better pizza in terms of taste and quality. Pizza Tascio is one of the few places in KC where you can get a pretty authentic NY slice, and NY style pizza is definitely one of my favorite varieties of 'za. I've been ordering from this location since they opened their doors, as I was a fan of the OG location in NKC. The pizza here is always good. Whether you go for a classic pepperoni or something with a bit more pizzazz you wont be dissapointed. I actually came in to pick up a pizza on my way home from work one day and had a really pleasant time in the pizzeria while I waited. The person working was super kind and friendly, and the space was clean and inviting. While we usually get the NY style this time we picked up a sicilian and my god is it good. Think Detroit style - thick, and comforting. The only reason I feel like it's 4/5 is just because the price of delivery is a bit unhinged. I get it, they don't want to hire their own drivers and outsource to doordash etc. No shame in that, but it does make for one of the most expensive delivery pizzas in the area. Is it worth it? If you're craving a good NY style pizza absolutely. But, we try to do carry out here when we can because of the cost.

Pizza Tascio was fantastic. I stopped in for lunch recently and found the lunch combo to be exactly what I needed. I got two slices of pizza and a can of soda for $10. I went with the spicy pep and the 3 meat. Both were excellent. The sauce had a nice tang to it, the cheese was awesome, the crust had a nice chew, and all the toppings were super tasty. I liked the cup pepperonis a lot. Nice and crunchy. I also got an ice cold Dr. Pepper. The place was super pink on the inside, which was fun. The person working was super friendly and nice. The pizza by the slice is behind glass where you can see it, and when you order it, it is warmed up in the oven. I see why this place is opening so many new locations around KC now, and I'm glad I finally tried them. This will be going on the pizza rotation for sure!

Best pizza I've had in a while. We were actually next-door having dinner and we kept smelling the most amazing pizza and ended up leaving our restaurant after just one drink and grabbing a slice for dinner. The guys working were super nice they didn't have any single slices left, but offered to make us some fresh ones. The guy even let me pick out some of the toppings that I wanted. They had so many many different topping options. It was hard to choose, but I ended up going with pepperoni with the ricotta and hot honey and basil on top. I will absolutely be back for more, those guys were so sweet and really made the experience for me.

this pizza is legit. the guys who work there are super nice. the pizza is FABULOUS. You can see them throw the pizza dough and the whole place smells great. Pizza isn't greasy at all. perfect crust. we will be back !
