Hard to find NY style in KC.............................................................................................

My kids go absolutely nuts for their pizza, so it's slowly working it's way into our regular rotation. It really is good, and if I had to sum it up quick I would say it's simple NYC style pizza with quality ingredients.It's definitely on the pricier side, with most of their pizzas around $30 each. However the slices are huge so for a family of four, one is enough. When we have friends with us, we get two. Aside from the standard cheese or cupped pepperoni, we recently ordered their Margherita pizza and it was one of my favorites that they make. I'd like to venture over to their white pizzas as well, if I can convince the kiddos. This spot can be busy -- I called one night and was quoted two hours, so plan accordingly. Otherwise, it's a solid neighborhood pizza spot!

Ordered ahead of time at 3pm to be picked up at 5:40pm. Arrive at 5:46 to be informed they had not even made the pizzas yet. The impression was that I should just accept their incompetence because they are "very busy". $80 for 2 pizzas and garlic bread and could not even be ready on time. They also could have contacted me so I did not drive all the way here to sit for an extra 20 minutes in a Smokey store. They also could have offered compensation- but neither happened. Their pizza is good but not worth the expense and incompetent service.

Went in and got 4 diverse slices... All so good. The 'Red Tascio' might be the fave, and their deep dish is also terrific. The best though is the staff. Excited to return and try more options!

This pizza is the closest thing to a slice of New York heaven! The crust is so thin and crispy and the mozzarella is the good fresh kind! The staff was so nice and friendly, love the cool open decor. The have tables and chairs to sit outside on nice weather days.

I will be bold enough to declare this is the best NY pizza in the suburbs of KC. Try the pepperoni+jalapeno+hot honey!! And try the ranch!!!! The place definitely gives hole-in-the-wall but in the best way. You could tell the people walking in were regular locals. The boys behind the counter were very nice too.

Had barely any pizza selection to choose from. Burned my pizza and then told me I had to select another 2 slices from the now even more limited selection. Not only did I not get the selection I wanted the pizza was still burnt when finally ready after a second try. Hard pass on this location.

Ordered on line because of a 20% off promo. Ordered a 50/50 pie with GF crust. Ended up not getting the 20%, and charged with a 20% tip so a 12" pie ended up costing $45.00.

Good pizza made fresh for you at the time you order and is a nice change from other places. Having said that, they also have a lunch deal with some slices that are ready to go when you get there. Overall, a really good place and if you haven't eaten there yet, give it a try.

The perfect take on New York Style pizza. The spicy pepperoni with hot honey is our favorite!! Ordering online is easy & the people working there are great. This pizza definitely made our 4th of July - spot on. Highly recommend this place!
