We finally go around to trying this place and we have already been back. They have great classic pizza. The slices are huge and the toppings are great. Perfect place if you like a thinner crust pizza. Its a cute little spot on 39th and we had great service when we went in a different time.

Wow!!! Being from NY I have struggled to find good pizza in the Midwest. I was NOT expecting to find GREAT Pizza!!!! I had the White Tascio and it was fabulous! First off, the dough is made on site weekly....no chain garbage. The pizza's are hand-tossed and oh so fresh. We had a little mix up, ALL my fault . I called ahead to order but unfortunately called the wrong location. Ryan was super cool about it calling the other location to notify them then immediately went about making ours. They use Paradise Meat Locker's sausage, ricotta cheese, mozzarella, EVOO, and broccoli....oh so good! I have found my new Favorite

We decided to try this because we had a coupon and hadn't been before. It's pretty much a one man operation, but he seemed to be handling people as they drifted in and everyone was taken care of. Our mistake was in not looking at the menu before we got there. They only have one size pizza or you can buy individual slices. Our $5 coupon didn't go far for the price of the pizza - when it still cost $40 for pizza and one beer. They do have a combo meal for 2 slices (of whatever he already has made) and a beverage for $10. That probably would have been a smarter move for us than the whole pizza. With all that being said, the pizza was really good and we would happily order here again. Thin crust, foldable slices with plenty of toppings and light on the sauce.

I just stumbled on this place while visiting KU Med and it's awesome! If you are in the neighborhood it is cool, clean and comfortable and a great place to get away from the hospital for a few minutes to relax and enjoy some excellent NY style pizza.

A buddy and I walk in on the hottest night in KC to order takeout so what the temperature is the same inside as it is outside we didn't come for the glamour. We were told 10 min. for a large pepperoni and jalapeño pizza it took maybe 20 min. so what. We took it to our pool party and wow if the eyes could taste everyone fell in love at first sight then they took a bite and it was silence till the last piece of crust dissipated. Now you try.

They provide excellent large pizzas for takeout or delivery, including many options of toppings and preparations. But as a restaurant at which to dine, there are very few options. When I was there, you could order slices from four large pizzas on display. They didn't even have a veggie pizza. The only pizza without meat was a plain cheese pizza. They did not have any menu or sides: no salads, so pasta, no vegetables. I did enjoy my slices of cheese pizza, both the white one and the one with tomato sauce. When I was there, the one unisex bathroom had no operational lighting in the room. I had to use my cell phone for light in that room. I was told the problem was not bulbs, but a short circuit, which had not yet been repaired, so there was no electrical service to the bathroom at all, but there was to the dining room and kitchen. They have a few bottles of wine, but they are surprisingly expensive upscale wines for such a downscale dining room. So I would give this restaurant two thumbs up for takeout or delivery of whole large pizzas, made the way you want, but two thumbs down for dine in.

Great pizza!! The closest to NYC we've had in KC. We love that they have a half and half option to try two different kinds. It's a solid thin crust pizza just like we were looking for. They also sell by the slice! We got ours Togo but the restaurant itself was clean and the staff were friendly!

They sell slices. And they heat those slices up in the very hot oven. They are decent size but could be bigger. Two slices and a drink for $10. That's not bad for 2025. It's not the $1 slices I grew up with in NY but they tasted great. I have been back twice in the same week as my first visit. I will be back and with we had one of these a little further south in Carthage but Carthage doesn't deserve something like this.

Overpriced for shitty salad and a pizza with very little toppings. Pizza tasted good but it would have been nice to have toppings like pictured on their website. Fool me once!

This tastes nothing like NY style pizza. They don't add a pound of salt to the pizza in NY. I am really picky since my parents are from there. So far, the closest to real NY pizza we have is Providence and Original pizza.
