Our family Boxer-Belle

Our family was so impressed with this service. They were even able to come to our home and pick up our furry baby after she passed away last week (for an additional fee). It was great to have them come pick her up from our home during our time of grief. The gentleman that came to pick her up was so respectful, courteous and kind. He put her in a box with a blanket and we were even able to send our kitty's special blanket with her. The service stayed in touch with us after pick up and were quick to perform the process. We picked up kitty today and the woman that cared for our kitty gave her back to us in a beautiful walnut box/urn inside of a gift bag with her certificate of cremation. The entire process exceeding all of our expectations. Even though the loss of our kitty was hard, this service made it as pleasant as it could possibly be. Even though we drove to pick her up from a while away, it was completely worth it to know she was treated with love and respect even after passing.

My daughter's best friend (her words) passed away very suddenly unexpectedly on a Saturday morning. He had been abandoned/lost after Hurricane Katrina and literally just invited himself in and thankfully never left (we had lived there during the storm). So when I found him outside her bedroom door it was a shock, and I numbly just started searching online. Thank God Linda Crawford answered the phone at Pet Cremation Services. I think I might have managed to get about 20 words out before before being unintelligible while crying. Linda was so patient, she helped me get out what was going on and told me she'd meet me - on a Saturday morning before 8 a.m. - at Pet Cremation Services and they would handle everything. She met us there - she was waiting for us - and had left nothing undone as far as expediting the entire process. And she was so KIND. It was a horrid thing, having him go so suddenly, but she made the final part as easy on us as possible. What a comfort she and PCS were on such an awful day. She kept me informed with regards to when we could get his remains, and made no attempt to hard sell anything (not our first pet cremation and have been hard-pitched everything under the sun at very inopportune times). It's never easy letting go or losing a beloved family member (our pets are family members to us) but she did everything and then some. More than professional, she left nothing undone.

We lost our beautiful girl yesterday (a Sunday) in the early morning hours. We called this group around 8 in the morning after breaking news to our children. Linda was amazing and quickly yet gently found an agreeable time to help us. Whereas other groups were clear on their websites they would not work outside of general business hrs (m-f). Life doesn't always fit in a Monday through Friday timeline.... This group recognized this up front. We then very shortly after heard from Steve. Again, such compassion and tenderness. We met at 3 pm at their office to trust Steve with our baby girl. He walked us through the steps calmly, gently and consistently. He was very much aware of the pain we were going through. He made sure every step of the way we were comfortable with the outcome. He offered us additional services but again was so compassionate in how he did it. Consistently checking in and letting us know our decisions were what matter. He was so tender with our girl when we gave him to her and let us spend the time we needed to mourn her. He noticed every detail and made sure to handle it for us before we even had time to ask. Fast forward not even a full day later, and our girl is safely and beautifully back home with us. Thank you, To the PCS team for being a fantastic support system to your clients. This pain is heavy but you were a light for us in our darkness. For anyone looking for a place to help you through this time of loss, I would recommend this team vs any others every time.

We have used their services several times over the years. They always have top notch service. They are very caring and sensitive in how they help customers through the difficult last care we can give to our beloved furry family members.

I was extremely impressed with the service I received. Not only was everyone I worked with helpful and empathetic from the phone call to the drop off to the pick up, but they treated my baby with respect from start to finish as well. The turnaround was also impressive as it was just about 36 hours before I could go pick up my baby and bring her back home. When I picked her up, they had her foot print in a beautiful box with a bow around it, her ashes were in a velvet bag, and her death certificate was in a envelope so that everything I needed was not only easily accessible but displayed beautifully. They also included information to help me grieve if needed.I hope I do not have to use them again soon, as it is never easy to lose a pet. However, they have gained a customer for life and I will go back in the future.Thank you team - Karen, Shonda, and everyone else!

Absolutely the worst. I called after hours and got a speedy return call from a VERY nice women. She walked through what I to expect. I was told the phone lines open at 8:30 and another women would call me for CC information and to finish paperwork. At 7:15 some guy from this place started blowing up my phone. Woke me up after a long night of bawling my eyeballs out and repeatedly blew me up before I finally could pull myself to together. He was pushy and rude. Demanding my CC at every turn. I finally told him he was not to run my card and to not go anywhere near my horse. If he treated a human with such little respect during such a hard time I'm sure my poor horses body would have been poorly treated as well. Ended up using another company that was wonderful. This guy should find another line of work.

I knew that Tab Jr. was going to pass away. I did not know about Pet Cremation Services before I searched for a facility closer to my home. When the day came, I called and they said they would be ready. A day later I got a phone call that it was fine to pick up his cremains. A fine wood box as well as a nameplate (which was optional) and I have nothing but good things to say about this business. I have dealt with human funeral homes that were not this empathetic. I highly recommend this business if you choose to have your pet cremated.

My experience is similar to other reviewers who give Pet Cremation Services 5 stars. Our family dog passed away after midnight on a Saturday. On Sunday morning, I called Pet Cremation Services at 8:30 a.m. I expected to get an answering machine, and was pleasantly surprised when a real person at an answering service answered the phone. She said someone would call me back, and within 10 minutes I got the call. Unfortunately, in my grief I failed to get the woman's name. Since I live about 50 miles from their facility, I asked if someone could meet me at 10:30. She told me one of their workers would meet me.My experience only got better when Greg met me at 10:30. He said the owners typically handle the weekend calls, but they were out of town. He was so gracious, respectful and caring! It amazed me that someone could be so compassionate after being called into work on a Sunday morning. He helped me fill out the paperwork and talked me through the process. One of my biggest concerns was that my poor dog would be left there until someone came in on Monday to do the cremation. But no, Greg said he would do it that same day. And, in fact, he said I could go back and be with her as he started the process. He even said that they could deliver the remains to my vet so I wouldn't have to drive the 50 miles back to pick them up.When I left, I couldn't even thank Greg because I was so choked up---partially because of the grief, but also because I was so touched by his kindness.I picked up the ashes today, expecting them to be in a ziploc bag in a cardboard box. I didn't pay for a special urn, but they had put her ashes in a very nice wooden box with a small note that had a beautiful quote. They also provided a certificate of death. They made a very difficult situation much easier to deal with.

We discovered early on Easter morning that our sweet cat passed away unexpectedly. My husband and I were devastated and at a loss for what to do, as we had (fortunately) not had to cope with losing a pet before this point. A friend gave me the phone number for Pet Cremation Services, and I called, expecting to leave a message. Not only did someone answer, but arrangements were quickly made for us to bring our girl in before noon. Steve was so kind and caring, and didn't seem inconvenienced at all at having to come in on a Sunday morning (and a holiday, at that). He took the time to carefully explain the process, how we could be certain that the remains we received were hers, offered to show us the machine they would use, and didn't charge us any sort of fee for the "off-hours" visit. We special-ordered an urn, which took an extra two days; Steve offered to keep her until it arrived or to let us come back that same day and pick her up, and get the urn later. We chose the former, and picked up our sweet girl today. Nothing can lessen the pain of losing her so suddenly, but the kindness and compassion of Steve and the other staff at Pet Cremation Services was such a blessing in what was a very emotional and traumatic day.
