Great Service, Ambiance, food, dessert, and drink options. Loved that they had a few mocktail options as well.

Came here on a whim, for lunch, passing through town--ordered the Grilled chicken Fresh Greens salad and had their house vinaigrette--very tasty. Some leaves were a bit wilted but not enough to be off-putting.Service was okay; not like we needed much anyway.I'd go again if I was passing through.Not too noisy.

If you're ever close to Macon or driving through, this is the place to stop. With a vast menu, it has options for everyone. The Caesar salad is a must, and the wedding cake is such a fun treat! I had the bolognese and it was absolutely delicious. This is a casual to semi formal place to enjoy a meal as a family, or a special date night. We sat at the bar and the service was great!

Great food, great service, quick, very clean, a little pricey but very expected with this caliber of an establishment.

Pork tenderloin was incredible. I almost thought it was a chicken cutlet. Service was awful 7/6 at 8:30 pm. Yes I get it that you close at 9 but it wasn't an issue for the obvious local customers. Brunette waitress was more unpleasant than any I've ever had to sit through a meal with. We were traveling home and just wanted a meal that wasn't fast food but it was ruined by her acting like we were bothering her. Meanwhile a 30-something couple next to us ordered dessert at 9:15 as we had wrapped up and she was all over whatever they needed. To the owner, your place won't survive if you only cater to locals that come in occasionally.

Cute little restaurant at the intersection of highways 36 & 63, in Macon. Great upscale, country chic atmosphere with superior food. The portion are huge so you'll have take home if you don't split a meal. The piece' da resistance' is the salad dressing caddy with F O U R HOMEMADE salad dressings!!!!! I live to drive thru Macon do I can eat here. The dressings are simple ingredient made and delicious; ranch, French, blue cheese and house. Do yourself a favor and EAT HERE!!!

Onion rings were perfection. Salad fresh. Burger delicious. Service fast. Got it to go.

The food was all perfectly timed to come out and was very well presented and delicious. The service was outstanding. I have not seen service like this in a long time! Teamwork is hard to find in restaurants now. Cups never went low and always came back to make sure we were doing great. They also came back to clear our table which was full of dishes we ordered and they made sure our table was always cleaned off after every plate. The atmosphere had low calming lights and very good ambience to relax and eat. Thank you to the awesome servers and the cooks who made an awesome lunch for my wife and I and my friend on his birthday. We will come again soon.

If you are in the area. This place is a MUST. We came in about an hour before closing, just the two of us. We ordered cocktails. They had a great selection of whiskey drinks and even aged some of their stuff in house which was cool. I ordered the ribeye which I was hesitant to order since it's a bit more money than I'd usually spend at a restaurant but I am SO glad I did. It was perfectly cooked medium rare and so juicy and tender. Highly recommend. The Caesar salad that came with it was delicious as well. Probably the best Caesar I've ever had. My partner got the chicken piccata and was equally as happy with it. We also got a slice of turtle cheesecake to split which was absolutely perfect in every way. I wish we weren't just passing through so we could come back!

We are regulars at The Pear Tree and have been for years. You just can't beat the great food and service. To have such a great dining establishment in North Central Missouri makes us very lucky! If you have a chance to experience it, please use the opportunity - you won't be disappointed!!!
