Was told that I would get the $100 deposit I put down credited to my total. This did not happen so I reach out and Erik told me he'd credit it back to my card however I waited a week and it never happened. It's now been a month and I've followed up with him twice but have been ignored. It's not even about the money it's about the dishonestly & lack of professionalism. They also charged us double the amount of beer we ordered on our bill and the table we sat at smelt HORRIBLE all night long making the experience disappointing. Definitely recommend any other bar than this one if you're planning on getting a table at power and lights

One of the worst experiences I have had at a bar in Kansas City. This bar has gone down hill the last few years. Some of the bartenders are very nasty to customers now. Last night I overheard a bartender on the side bar telling customers I won't serve you unless you tip me largely. She didn't even give people a chance to order a drink before saying "why should I serve you?"... Typically you tip a bartender after they make your drink, right? Apparently not here. We also waited almost an hour before getting served a drink. Not to mention, people were literally peeing on the walls and floors of the bar because they did not want to wait in line for the bathroom. I witnessed a guy pee in a corner and another pee on the dance floor right in front of me. None of the employees or security staff cared. Customers walked through the mess all night. I will never come back here unless they teach their employees to be humble, especially if I'm being kind to them. This bar needs a clean sweep of employees and sanitation.

This place sucks!! Listen to all the bad reviews! My friend paid for a VIP table for her birthday and the staff were letting people not in our group, that didn't have a wrist band into our area, what is the point of paying $500+ for VIP??? (Our bill ended up being $1000 for 1 keg and 2 bottles) Save your money and go to somewhere better! We brought it up with security guards and management and they didn't care. There is soo many better bars in KC to go to.

I always have an amazing time at this club.. I really don't know why there is bad reviews because i've never had a bad experience!! the beer and alcohol is expensive so i would recommend pre gaming but other than that,, this is the best club/bar i've ever been to!! The service is amazing and the ambiance and vibes are great. I have never been a fan of country music but PBR really had me get into it!! This place is so fun and so lively.. i cannot recommend it enough!

This place is a waste of time and money. The friendliest people here are the pbr girls, and everyone else is belligerent. Security will slam you to the ground at a moments notice for absolutely no reason. Not surprisingly, some of the security guys are the boyfriends of regulars, and if you talk to the wrong person they will come after you because they gotta act tough for their ladies LOL. Just know that the people who frequent this bar are annoying and fail to mind their own business. If a girl wants you gone, all she has to do is say "this guy touched me" and security goes to war--this never happened to me, but I've seen it and I've heard it. Besides that, the floors are constantly slippery when it's crowded, so twisting an ankle in here seems likely. Drinks are extremely overpriced and the $20 cover adds insult to injury. Oh, and if you do have a problem with someone or vice versa and you're not paying half a grand for a table, they'll simply ban you from all of p&l for 5 years. Do not go here--there are no redeeming qualities of this establishment, especially if you want to listen to country music, because they play none.

Absolute worst experience of my life. I was charged $500 to sit in a booth for 30 minutes that smelt of vomit. When I attempt to resolve the issue I was physically assaulted but the manager, Eric, and kicked out. If it were an option to leave zero stars I would. Me and some friends went to PBR to celebrate the Kansas City Chiefs winning of the Super Bowl. We got the largely overpriced bottle service that comes with a booth. Shortly after being sat we all noticed that the booth smelt so strongly of vomit that we were unable to physically stay there. The staff and management knew of the issue with the horrid smell but sat us there anyway with the sole intent of stealing our money. They provide two 'complementary' bottles of champagne before we ever mentioned the smell. We were told by put server that the bottles were meant to make up for the smell. They didn't. I attempted to work out the issue, pay for the few drinks that we were still finishing, and leave. However, the very unprofessional manager, Eric, had no intentions of allowing us to leave without paying the outrageous $500 minimum. Mind you, we've had 4 beers and poured 2 cocktails not 15 minutes in at this point. Eric, made the problem our fault even though him and our waitress admitted to knowing of the issue prior to sitting us there. At this point, Eric is speaking to me like a child blaming me all the way up to the point that he physically assaults me and pushes me out the door. Simple put, if you'd like to spend your time in a vomit smelling room that serves over priced drinking and every once in awhile assaults you, PBR Big Sky is just the place for you. What makes all of this worse, is that Eric went ahead and sat another poor group of people in that same spot for the rest of the night. Save yourself the time and money and enjoy any of the dozen other bars in the area as they will all provide a better experience.

I purchased bottle and table service $400 minimum after Big Twelve tournament on a Wednesday around 10:45 pm. Website says they are normally closed on Wednesdays but are open until 2:30 Thursday-Saturday. First, they bring out an ice bucket that leaks all over the floor and soaks my buddy's dress shoes. Then they bring our Captain Morgan in a full glass bottle and set it on the table (illegal for hard liquor in kcmo because it could be used as a weapon and the contents are flammable plus shattered glass not good with open toes/heels). Then at 11:30 they call last call and kick out what few customers they had. I tabbed out and went to the restroom. While in there, two bouncers tell me to hurry up and get out or they would kick my ass. I walk outside and call the cops because PBR Big Sky hook, line, and sinkered me out of over $400+. We still had over half our liquor left to drink. Needless to say they did not have their hours posted nor did they inform us when they were closing until they made last call. While waiting for the cops outside PBR Big Sky, some bald guy in a polo and khakis comes up to me and asked me my name. I told him I'm not answering his questions without my attorney and I asked him who he was. He refused to identify himself. I video recorded him until the cops arrived. I assume he worked security for PBR or for the power light district. He seemed furious. I let the cops know what happened just so that I can have more evidence when go to small claims court. Do not ever go to PBR Big Sky! They are a bunch if thieves.
