I think that Parker at the Fontaine is a sweet little hidden gem. I drive by it almost every single day and when some friends and family asked for a recommendation on where to go for a nice holiday dinner, this place came to mind! It's a fairly large space, so getting dinner reservations has been surprisingly easy in my experience. The staff has been kind when I've been, but some have been on the younger side which brings some understandable issues. The food is good albeit a bit overpriced, but I find that hotel restaurants often have similar prices. All of that said, the Fontaine is lovely and very modern so they have that going for them! I'm actually going again very soon and do plan to take some photos to capture the experience! I say check this one out, especially if you're in a bind during the holidays.

We joined a friend for a few drinks to cap the night at the Parker rooftop hotel and loved it!They had a live DJ and friendly staff! Once seated, we were given a few different cocktail menus, which gave lots of unique options! I went with the house red and it was great! They had the fun igloos available for reservation to get the best view of downtown. But our seats inside overlooked a beautiful park.

You're going to get a nice little view from the rooftop up here, and that creates an overall ambiance that's worth checking out, even if you're not staying in the attached hotel. I think their drinks are good, the food is really good, and the vibe is on point for a modern, unique spot in town. The parking garage here is more of a headache than it should be.. It's just the nature of the beast for this part of the Plaza, but it's tight, dark, and not well-designed at all. But, if you make it through the parking garage, Parker at The Fontaine will validate your parking, so you got that going for you. I've had more than a handful of experiences here and too many different things to remember and list out, so I'd lean on some others for food recs and the like. However, I can point you here and say it's a fun, unique spot just off The Plaza, and rewrites the idea that hotel restaurants are often forgettable.

We went here for an after dinner drink and we sat in the bar (we did not order any food). It was a Thursday night around 8pm and I was surprised at how empty it was - for being so highly rated on Yelp, we expected it to be busier. We ordered two glasses of Davis Bynum Pinot Noir, which sadly they had just run out of, so we had the Sea Sun Pinot Noir and it was terrible. It's a cool spot, but we were underwhelmed.

We went there for a friend's birthday. We basically had the entire restaurant portion to ourselves for most of the night. Our waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and gave great suggestions. The ambiance was great very chill and the fireplace adds a great vibe. I would love to come back in the summer and sit on the patio.I wasn't super hungry so I ordered the macaroni and cheese. It was very delicious and came out nice and hot and was super cheesy. We also had fries to share at the table and they were seasoned well. Someone in my party had the fried chicken and the other had the flatbread. You also get a free dessert or drink your birthday. The birthday girl got the peanut butter cookie ice cream sandwich (I forgot to take a picture of that, but it looked great)

Really cool spot, great views, and when it's sunny out, it's hard to beat for brunch. The food was good too. There were some healthy options, actually.

This place is more worried about having to wipe down tables then meeting the needs of their customers. The problem lies with the manager not the rest of the staff. They were pleasant to work with. The food was delicious but it's important to me for a staff to make it a priority to best accommodate their customers. The manager made me move and eat over my lap versus allowing me to sit at a perfectly open table because "he had already wiped it down." To be fair this was in the middle of a Sunday afternoon however being the service industry wiping down a table would never been a reason for me to make a customer sit in an uncomfortable place for not so inexpensive meal. The only reason I'd come back is for a drink near the pool with the view.

An absolute exquisite experience, in every understanding of what that means. The level of craftsmanship at the Fontaine is superb. The view from the booths - and subsequent overlook - is serene and contemplative. But the food is imagined! Albeit, I must say, the flavors could have been more defined for the patron across the board - and not by. Still, an experience worthy of a special occasion. We went full-court press on this one, Trying the best of what Mr. Parker had to offer. We started with a hand-muddled lemonade - beautiful, yet tart to a fault - and a blackened hummus. The hummus was an oddity, robust with definition and earthiness; honestly, one of my favorite things. The crustini worked well with the hummus, and the pickled veggies were a treasure worth savoring. The main course for me was the Halibut, in a sort of pan broth. This began the onslaught of the saltless. Interestingly enough, upon request they actually had Mordon's salt - but even layers of handcrafted salt couldn't recover the now cold and bland fish over a bath of nonsense pan water. Swing and a miss - good try though, and the fish was cooked flawlessly. A follow-up was the steak, opted instead for mashed potatoes. The glaze was good, but the steak lacked the rich umami of beef found in every great piece of $40+ steak - I'd not have this again if I could help it. Still, it was cooked flawlessly, and beautiful. The pièce de résistance for me - aside from that ingenious hummus - was any of the greater concoctions founded by that remarkable pastry chef! The peanut-butter ice-cream sandwich cookie was inspiring! I devoured that cookie like a monster - and yes, they actually make the most decadent caramel as a foundation for that cookie. It's worth $9, trust me.For a romantic evening, or a secluded business-dinner locale seemingly hovering peacefully above the plaza, there is none better than the Park at The Fontaine. I want to thank the service, and the pastry chef for something memorable. It was enjoyable.
