I learned more than I ever had in the last 30 years from a grocery store meat person. I have used all the big-name online beef places. Snake River. Holy Grail, Omaha Steaks, etc. No one comes close to the place! My highest recommendation!

Stopped in a recommendation from a friend and after trying a brat from there a couple weeks ago. They make an absolutely delicious brat for grilling. They have way more flavor than a grocery store brat with a good taste of black pepper (?). We bought some Italian sausages, cheddar brats, breakfast roll sausage and some bacon end pieces. Can't wait to them on the grill and bacon/sausage in a skillet for breakfast. The young lady working the front counter was very nice, signed us up for a rewards program and gave us, first time customer insulated grocery bag with zipper to take our meats home in. Very neat, place, good meats and nice people.

You know, having lived most of my life in the UK, I miss quite a few things about home. However, one thing I never complain about is the KC beef. Midwestern beef kicks a** (or a***, in British English).While even the humblest KC restaurant or grocery store will stock lovely meat, I suggest that you get yourself to the Paradise Locker plant in Trimble (MO) if you really want to treat yourself.Trimble? Where the... I know. It's a drive - particularly for the Southerners. However, if you are a true gourmet, what is a trifling 1 hour drive? Besides, while you're up there, why not swing by Justus Drugstore (Smithville, MO) - possibly the best restaurant in KC.Paradise specializes in top quality beef (I think one of the few places here where you can buy Wagyu). They supply some seriously famous US restaurants. And they have a neat retail shop attached to their plant, so the locals can access their gorgeous produce.I went there for the first time to buy steaks for my Hubby's birthday dinner. Paradise had a whole cabinet of fresh (never been frozen) steaks, ranging from the regular USDA approved stuff (which is v good already) to the super swanky Piedmontese beef. We splashed out on the Pied' beef and were not disappointed. Look it up - better for your health and bred to be super tender.They also stock chickens, lamb, pork, and some game birds. They smoke their own bacon. They make their own jerky. Oh, did I mention their homemade pastrami is worth adding to your fantasy Last Meal?

Ok products Tried to speak to one of the family members he must have been having a really bad day as he was rude to the point that it shocked employees who were trying to introduce us.Check dates on products (outdated moldy butter)

Fabulous meat and cheese and really great selections. The most awesome thing was the service. Everyone was so friendly...We will definitely go back.

Stopped in for the first time and purchased some Brats, Chorizio and Breakfast Sausage and all were very good. Will definitely be back to purchase other meats.

We've been to Paradise Locker Meats twice now, and we're so pleased. The people working there are incredibly friendly! The prices are reasonable. The selection of meat items-fresh and frozen-and other locally-made products, such as cheese, canned vegetables and jams, and other stuff, is diverse and delicious!We ate the beef/pork/bacon burgers last night. We'll eat some variety of brats tonight. The Mango Lime salsa is the best I've ever had. They carry Hemme cheese curds. You can't go wrong!Two things--they have a loyalty program ($5.00 for every $100 you spend). They also have buy-4-get-1-free brats/sausages. There is an impressive and intriguing variety of brats and sausages, too!We're happy to have found this place and delighted to support a well-run business with high-quality products and outstanding service.

There's no need to repeat how great the meat is or how helpful the employees are - both true. An acquaintance of mine knows a USDA Meat Inspector and he says Paradise's meat processing area (i.e., the slaughter area) is probably the cleanest of any he's seen. That's a pretty good recommendation, IMO.
