Food is delicious- I had the pulled pork, my friend got the brisket- order the baked beans too

Good bbq brisket, beans a little kick but excellent and great service. Fun environment!

Hit this nice little bar and grill on a Monday night. Plenty of seating and a big bar. Servers were nice and friendly, the pour was excellent and the food wa good as well. Don't skip on Papa C's when you're in paola

The menu listed the brisket as "award winning", so I had high expectations, which were easily met. The 1/2 lb brisket sandwich with choice of side ($8.00) was served just a few minutes after I ordered. The sandwich was nicely sized at 2" high, with a good amount of smoky, lean, fairly moist brisket. The brisket was very impressive. I also enjoyed the flavorful baked beans. They offered two sauces - hot and sweet. The hot had a nice amount of heat.I found the service to be helpful, and somewhat friendly. The interior was clean and spacious, with character, two pool tables, and a long bar, but no background music unless someone fed the digital jukebox. They offered a full bar and sometimes host live music events. Overall, very nice.

Stopped in on a Tuesday afternoon for some tacos and a cold beer. I had the ground beef hard shell tacos. Service was excellent and the bartender was friendly. Had to be some of the best tacos I've ever had. Well seasoned meat with a good ratio of meat, lettuce, and cheese. The only bad part was the taco sauce. It was a plain jane off the shelf taco sauce. A good spicy salsa would have got them five stars. Will definitely be going back, and maybe sneak my own salsa in.

Bri served us this evening and is great. Greeted us right away with a big smile, introduced herself, and answered all questions we had. Was a pleasure. She's a keeper. Very friendly, happy, and it shows in her work. Makes the whole place feel happy and comfortable. Was at ease right away. Like usual the food is great. Highly recommend the ribs, and smoked mac n cheese. Best food in Paola.

In their defense, they did seem short staffed. However, we most likely won't give them another shot. The food was just ok, the Mac and cheese sides were very small, and it seemed like it was priority to refill the beers at the bar than to attend the food tables as it took nearly 15 minutes just to get water.

Nachos where good. I had their brisket nachos, different than the ordinary. I had there brisket sandwich on another day and it was great.

Welcome to the most disappointing "BBQ" joint you've ever been to. The one waitress/bar tender was really friendly and on top of things. But that's about all this place had going for it. They have ribs and that's about it. Had the rib dinner which was embarrassingly bad and only consisted of three ribs. Suffered thru the first two bites but they were so chewy I had to spit out the next three bites. Gave up on the rest of them. The smoked Mac and cheese "side" was marginal and serving size was about 2 tablespoons. The dinner was rounded out with a single slice of Country Hearth white bread from the grocery store. My friend had the "brisket" nachos which were horrible. A microwaved plate of chips and cheese and the meat appeared to be from Alpo. Instead, try the brisket tacos from Quick Trip, way better. If your looking for cold bottled beer, but aren't hungry, this is the place for you. But if dinner is in your plans be sure to stop at McDonald's first. Felt important enough to warn the general public that I created a Yelp account just to leave this review.

Brisket was very fatty. Both brisket and pork sandwiches were huge but tasted old. Baked beans had way too much garlic, big chunks of it. Cole slaw was good and sauce was good. Place is clean and service fast but we won't go back.
