Panthers Place is such a magical hideaway- I love every detail and would go here every weekend if I could! The drinks are delicious, the staff is incredible, and you will not want to leave. It's mysterious, magical, and serene, right in the middle of the city!

Creating space is an art. There's a lot of permutations of details, so many possibilities. That leaves a lot of ways to get things wrong, which is why there's often so much trend following in the hospitality space- it's hard to hit the balance of familiarity and surprise, so following the crowd is usually a safe and inoffensive bet. Which is why I appreciate Panther's Place. They are a creative and refreshing addition to the landscape in KC.Enveloped in plants and kitsch-but-not-kitschy ephemera, it's spacious and green and lovely in the summer. During daylight it's airy and wonderful, at night it feels a party in a secret garden after hours. And baking in one of the many hundred degree heatwaves we've endured this summer, we were given yet another reminder that we really need to get a handle on this climate change thing so we can contribute to enjoy wonderful spaces like this. Bartenders were sharp and on their game, while the entire experience was relaxed and unhurried- great hospitality. Highly recommended. We enjoyed showing up early and letting the sun set into night while we were there. Panther's Place has a level of self possession that is rare. It doesn't reach or contort, it invites.

I'm somewhat hesitant to put this review out for fear that all of you will begin to go here! Stopped by last Saturday night for a cocktail and to explore the venue. Very unique and comfortable setting. Lot's of little nooks to hang out and talk. It's like a greenhouse with all the plants and the floor covering. It opens on Friday and Saturday at 6 o'clock. Begins to fill up closer to seven. Unique and fantastic options of creatively mixed drinks. ($10/$12) This is the kind of place the cool kids hang out.

Came to the place on first Fridays with 3 friends. We arrived around 930pm, and there was a bit of a wait. It was First Friday's, not sure if that's why it was so busy or if that's normal. But we waited and 20 mins. The place is pretty cool looking. It kinda resembles what I would think a rainforest looks like. Drinks were kinda pricey but no more than other trendy places, I think Margarita was $11. A lot of groups were here, and the crowd was very diverse. I liked the energy. One thing that could be an issue is there is only 1 bathroom stall. When I went, there were 3 people in front of me waiting, and the bathroom waiting area quickly filled up. It's an odd setup, but it was an opportunity to talk to strangers while waiting to pee. It took a while to order drinks. There isn't any table service, but a nice man did come by and clear any glasses away, and he also brought us some waters. The last thing is the music. It was weird music and seemed to get louder as the night progressed. Even though I have a few dislikes, I liked this place and would definitely go back. I like the atmosphere, crowd, and being outdoors

This is a great little place tucked away with plants aplenty and an intimate vibe. There's a fun outdoor spot with artificial turf and a bit more of a retro setting. Then, inside it's very woody and natural. The drinks were yummy and it was a nice place to sit and have a conversation over drinks. Been meaning to check out this spot & so glad we finally did a couple of weeks ago!

A hidden gem, right across from Boulevard. Kind of hidden, but if you see a small lot with a metal trailer tucked in an alley, you've found it!!! I'm excited to see what this place looks like come spring, because it is a plant lovers paradise. So many vines hang from the area, which is several shipping containers (really cute concept and designs). They have several signature cocktails but it's a full bar, so they can also make anything. Multiple hidden nooks around the place for seating. And, because it's mostly all outside, very covid friendly.Bartenders and staff are amazing. They're there to answer questions about menus, help with clean up, and made me some excellent, juicy mocktails. Definitely my new favorite little oasis.

A very cool spot if you're looking for hidden gems in Kansas City. Not many people know about this because of the location, but it's a must check out place. Great cocktails!

Suuuper cool place and a hidden gem right off Southwest boulevard. If you're looking for a simple cocktail night or a place to take visitors to, this is your place. The bar is unique in its design and decoration and definitely perfect for that Instagram/ snapchat post. They have a $10 cocktail list that's both creative and flavorful. Pick something random off the list and I bet you'll be pleased with your choice. Advice - I went on a Friday at 6pm, when they open, and they started to get full fast. It's a super chill and awesome bar, so just plan for seating to fill up fast.

Their cosmopolitan was fantastic and they had an interesting and unique set of cocktails. During our visit we got a cocktail we didn't really like, no fault of their own, it was well made and I could see how someone would appreciate it, it just wasn't our cup of tea. I fully intended to pay for it but when the bartender saw our drinks, he gave me another one on the house without me even asking or wanting it. That's some fantastic service and it was a really kind gesture. And finally, the ambiance. This place is truly a vibe, almost like a hipsters hidden oasis. A little tricky to find, but when you do, you are greeted kindly. The music they play is very chill and different. This feels more like a place to unwind and chat with friends over a great cocktail than a party spot, and I really dig that. Lastly I'd like to touch on the architecture. This place is fantastic to look at. It feels a little surreal. You'll just have to see for yourselves.P.S - That old little vhs tv at the bar was awesome.
