What is the delicious smell emanating through the top floor of Bella Patina? It's the Painted Rooster! Follow your nose to a tucked away corner on the 3rd floor to find the tiniest little kitchen serving some delicious breakfast and lunch food. The Painted Rooster by the sweetest elderly couple you've ever talked to. It's only open on First Friday weekends (when Bella Patina is open) until 2 pm, so you always need to plan ahead and incorporate this breakfast stop into your First Friday antiquing. You place your order at the counter and give your name. When your food is ready, they call your name and bring your food over to you. This gets a little chaotic when it starts to get busy. The space is small with a couple of tables, so it gets packed quickly. The breakfast burrito is comfortingly delicious and generously sized for the price. Don't forget the homemade salsa over by the silverware and napkins under the windows. There are always freshly homemade baked goods that you must indulge in. The Painted Rooster is the perfect way to fuel your Bella Patina wanderings! I recommend starting here and then working your way back down to the first floor!

Such a fun spot to stop for breakfast or a treat while you're shopping. They have delicious breakfast burritos, cinnamon rolls, and sweet treats. The biscuits and gravy are absolutely amazing.

Biscuits and gravy for daaaaayyyyysss. On the third floor of Bella Patina tucked into a corner is Paint d Rooster, a sweet gem of a breakfast and lunch place. In addition to biscuits and gravy with scrambled eggs we also got a cinnamon roll and the pumpkin cake. I was a little skeptical since they were Saran wrapped but they were moist and fresh. My husband was thrilled that they don't use nuts since he is allergic. Plenty of seating & people were willing to share large tables. It is family owned & run. The grandma who helps to run it said that everything is made "with butter & love."

The staff at this family owned business was so friendly and welcoming! The coffee and food were delicious at a great price! The coffee had a great flavor that has me wanting more days later. This is a great place to rest if you are needing a break from browsing the antiques within Bella Patina!

A linden gem in Bella patina on the top floor tucked in the back. This is a family owned spot with great prices and service that'll warm your heart. Take a load off and refuel as a reward for making it through all of the antique finds of the day!

Great little place! Right there in Westbottoms. Had 2 breakfast burritos and they were amazing! Definitely would recommend them!

What an awesome hidden spot! On the 3rd floor tucked away in a corner. Everything is home made and very flavorful. Everything is rather cheap. The menu options are limited. The sweets are amazing. Great place to grab a snack as you're shopping around the market.

This adorable place is located on the third floor of Bella Patina in the west bottoms. They are there the first weekend of the month. It is a mother and her daughter and son-in-law is the chef. Mother is the baker. The have a few sandwiches, breakfast burritos, quiche and biscuits and gravy. Everything is made as you order. We had breakfast burritos. Hands down best in KC. They are just the right size with hand cut potatoes, cheese, tomato, egg, big chunks of sausage and a hint of cilantro. Tortillas had to be homemade. And of course being made there on a stove you can custom make your burrito. They had hibiscus water today and it was delicious. They serve Blip coffee and it tastes like you were at Blip. Very smooth. There is plenty of seating and you can shop around while you wait. Very sweet family.

My family and I absolutely love this this place. Its family operated and they all make u feel like ur apart of the family. The food is sooo delicious. Our favorites are the quiche and the chicken sandwich they offer. Everything about this place is AMAZING

What a delight! The "Rooster" only has incredible homemade food, but it is truly family ran! From grandparents down to the grandchildren... everyone in engaged... and that is beautiful! It is a Kansas City treasure.
