All I can say is that I love mortadella! For those of you who are not aware of its deliciousness, here is a description of what it is:Mortadella (Italian: [mortadlla]) is a large salume made of finely hashed or ground cured pork, which incorporates at least 15% small cubes of pork fat (principally the hard fat from the neck of the pig). It is traditionally flavored with peppercorns, but modern versions can also contain pistachios or, less commonly, myrtle berries. The sausage is then cooked. It is nothing like an American bologna! There is a fairly new place up north in the city of Liberty that they call Osteria Bianchi. And one of the items on their eclectic and interesting menu is a Mortadella Pizza.Holy Moly!!A Mortadella Pie! And that's no bologna!A 10" pie smothered with thinly slice mortadella on a bed of creamy cheese with a slightly crunchy crust and I am in heaven!Add to that a delicious Pinot Noir Row 503. Dry, with a fragrant and fruity bouquet of fresh berries, with a fresh and velvety touch to the palate and a long and interesting finish! I had to order a second glass!Well done Osteria Bianchi!Well done indeed! On a night that is just to cold for theses old bones I warmed up to a delicious mortadella pie!#supportlocal #supportthenorthland

Location: Kansas City NorthlandAmbiance: beautiful place. Excellent to take a date. Food: we got the Kansas city week dishes. The soup was ok but lacked flavor. The pasta was perfectly cooked al dente. But too much sauce that was poured on top of the pasta. The bolognesa like ragu was underwhelming and drowned the well cooked pasta. The desserts were delicious and the star of the night. Olive oil cake was perfect, moist, well put together. Orange sorbete was the best that I've had in a long time. I wonder if they make it from scratch.Service: the owners are committed to their customers. The lady owner was rounding making sure that the customers were satisfied. This tells me a lot about the commitment to excellence. We brought out 1.5 year old and they helped us getting a booster seat.We look forward to go back to this place and hopefully update the review to 5 stars

This is a must visit for amazing Italian food! Everything was delicious, from the drinks to the meatballs to the pizza. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the cozy atmosphere made the experience even better. If you love Italian cuisine, don't miss this place. I'll definitely be back! Also, they have a reverse happy hour from 9-11pm on Friday and Saturday! The pizzas were only $10 each, so of course we had to try all of them!

Always a great upscale option for the north land. Service is wonderful & cocktails are consistently on point. The decor & layout is modern & chic. Highly recommend the focaccia as an app! I want so badly to give 5 stars but unfortunately the pastas & entrees are just too small for the price.

I was very impressed by this gem in Liberty! I had heard the portions were super tiny and it's the only reason I hadn't come sooner but that couldn't be further from the truth! See my pics! The portions are huge! The service was wonderful and friendly. I used to come here when the place was Trago and they've transformed it into an intimate, beautiful, cozy place! Next time I'm sitting on the patio! We started with the most delicious focaccia with an olive oil parm mix. Next we shared the chicken meatballs which were delightful. A little spicy but so good! We shared the squash raviolis and they were boooommmb! Lastly, I had the pork and my friend the branzino. To die!

Grabbed dinner with a group at Osteria Bianchi. Love that it is in liberty! We had reservations, and I'm glad because the place filled up while we were there. Our table had a variety of drinks and all of them were good. We grabbed the focaccia for an appetizer, the tagliatelle and mortadella pizza for mains, and the olive oil cake for dessert. The standouts were the dip served with the focaccia (save it for your pizza crust!), the pizza, and the olive oil cake. I'd skip the tagliatelle- the noodles were good, but the sauce needed salt. I'd definitely come back for the pizza!

We stopped in after getting back from traveling and forgot that it was Valentine's Day. They were busy and were able to accommodate us at the bar. The service was amazing and the food was good.

We headed to Osteria Bianchi in KC up in the northland. It was such a hidden gem! Everything from the cocktails to the entrees were absolutely delicious! Here are my highlights below I started off with a blueberry italious sour + aperol spritz, both were incredibly delicious and refreshing! Cocktails here are on point! We had several appetizers, my favorite had to be the Focaccia that came with fresh baked bread and Parmesan salsa + the antipasto board with pickled veggies, fried artichokes, and everything in between! For dinner, we had the Bolognese + almond tortellini, both are absolutely delicious flavors-you honestly need to other both. My husband and I shared the Campo Lindo chicken with chimichurri sauce + hanger steak with pepper relish. Run, don't walk to make your reservation!

Everyone that works here is super sweet, knowledgeable and accommodating. The food and drinks are hands down the best have ever had in the Northland or honestly mabey anywhere in the world. From the second we got served our cocktails we let the bartender be the artist and choose for us. Then the bread and Parmesan salsa came out I knew this meal was going to be special. My group of 6 all got different things and enjoyed sharing and trying new bites with each other and didn't try one thing we didn't like. I Can't wait to go back and do it all again. If they sold that bread I think we each would have taken two loaves home with us no doubt I will be sneaking in here just for that before there dinner crowd. I have never been a big foodie but I might have just seen the light and be heading onward into a new culinary journey after the experience I had here. 10/10 stars
