Pretty good hotel food. Service and ambiance can be busy, but overall I had a nice dinner.

Thanks to an easily-fixed "oopsie" during my stay at the Westin, I received a coupon for some appetizers or beverages at One East Urban Bar and Kitchen. During my stay there, many of my friends had at least one meal or some drinks there, and now I see why. The restaurant part wasn't always open when the server I spoke to said they'd be open, but you can always order food and drink at the bar or tables in front of the bar, and you receive top-notch service there. We ordered their wings (those chickens must have been on steroids (definitely not free-range, lol)) and their Mediterranean platter (pita, hummus, baba ganoush, tabbouleh). It took a little longer than expected to get these, but it was worth the wait, everything was delicious and the wings were nicely "Buffalo" spiced and messy good, accompanied by lots of celery and bleu cheese dressing. This was definitely one of the better hotel restaurants at which I've dined in many years.

Terrible service, poor food quality, and overprice. We just needed something after walking around crown center and should have stopped at any fast food place because it would have been better than this.

Believe it or not this is a photo of butternut squash soup. I ordered room service. It was quick but the food was horrible. I've never seen food that looked so unappetizing. Also got the chicken sandwich, Caesar salad, cheese bites. Best thing was the fries that came with the sandwich. The rest was honestly disgusting and didn't even finish 1/4 of it. Would not recommend. Save your money and stay hungry.

Serving a limited, but excellent menu. Shrimp tacos as appetizer were delicious. We shared a One East salad, which was enough for a family of four. Our server, Randy, was very attentive and great conversationalist. We will definitely be back our next visit to KC.

The food is lackluster (tots are over seasoned). Our margaritas were good because we asked for them only a little sweet. It's expensive because it's a hotel bar/restaurant ... $64 per person for 3 margaritas, half a plate a tots and half a charcuterie. They use plastic straws excessively... I even asked for a water with "no straw" and got one.

The BEST aspect of this place is the service. As a hotel bar and restaurant with pandemic bashed restrictions and a limited menu it's a tough joint to support but the staff does it with ease in pleasant. Led by the amazing and phenomenal Rhonda whom is an absolute delight and to be quite honest could provide some training to management, we enjoyed The snacks and drinks that we had here. If you're kind Rhonda may go out of her way to prepare you one of her very own old fashioned cocktails! The limited there are some really great things on the menu. Nice simple charcuterie boards and who can go wrong with tomato soup and grilled cheese. The smoked Gouda was delicious on hearty thick toast. Rhonda was a joy and kept us going back. Thank you for making our experience such a treat Rhonda!

It's obvious that Marriott Bonvoy doesn't give a damn about having a well functioning restaurant in this Westin to serve its guests. First of all, there's not enough seating for the amount of hungry people in the vicinity, so maybe the management is trying to discourage guests from eating here. Plus, the food selection and quality is low for a Westin. And, yes, as others have observed, it's not economically wise to eat here for what you get. If you stay at this hotel and don't want to have to go out to eat, bring a small camp stove with you, such as a backpacking stove, along with a cool with food, and cook your own meals in your room.

I ordered room service from here and it was delivered really fast but the food was terrible. I ordered the grilled cheese and tomato bisque and the fried pickles and cheese curds. The tomato bisque was pretty good but the rest was inedible. The fried food was so heavily fried it was like biting into rocks. The cheese on the grilled cheese was barely melted. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.
