On The Moo-ve Burger Barn

This was so, so nostalgic for me! There's not a whole lot happening on this highway, but this made the drive a bit more fun! Service was great...the woman operating the window was very helpful in accommodating my dietary restrictions, and the burger and fries I had were delicious! It felt a bit like a blast from the past, and I loved it!

After so many trips by this place we finally stopped in to try a burger. 100% mom and pop burger shop. The Lady and I both pick doubles with Cheese, Fries, and a drink. We hang out in our car until we hear a cow bell ringing and the lady who took our order pointing at our car with a big smile. We get our bag of food and head to the car. No seating to speak of. The burgers are fresh and pretty standard. Not amazing but not bad. The fries were in a similar boat. In the end we both liked what we got but didn't think we would be going out of our way to get it. The GoodFun owners/chef with lots of character. A-OK burgers. A-OK Fries.The BadMaybe a little two basic?The UglyNada this place is A-OK.

Great pit stop for the family. Hot dogs and burgers for the kids. Made to order. Lovely picnic tables for eating - it's a food shack - no indoor dining or bathroom facilities. Friendly owners who kept everything very clean. Offered chalk and a basket of toy cars to my two boys to play with. I think it's seasonal.

This place is never open. Been driving to Springfield for years and every time I drive by the burger bar it is closed. They don't even have hours posted on this yelp app. Would love to know how good their burgers are but don't know because they're always closed

This is an example of what once was found in every small town across America, simple fresh, hot delicious burgers fries and shakes (or malts!)The owner will make your food while you wait and it will be HOT right off the grill and she will make you feel like you matter to her business. These things used to be universal and now are remarkable.I drove past it at first, but turned around and went back and am so glad I did.If you can't appreciate this place for what it is, just go back to your chain/franchise place serving mediocre commercial food-service dreck with surly disinterested staff..

Great food and friendly service at an affordable price! Burgers are great, sides are yummy and lots to choose from, and ice cream is delicious! Take the time to stop at this cute little burger barn!

This little road-side shack is everything you want it to be. Incredibly friendly staff, really reasonable prices, and food that is the definition of Americana.

Stopped by to get some soft serve ice cream. The lady told me her soft serve machine was not working and a repairman wanted too much per hour to fix it. I didn't order any food, so I can't comment about that. I was just disappointed in her comnents about the soft serve machine....

This is a great little burger joint. Employees were friendly, the food is inexpensive and best of all the burgers were tasty! They even gave us some fried cauliflower and mac and cheese (which were good) to try and brought water out for our dog. Give it a try!

I ate at this restaurant while on my way to Scout Camp at H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation. The proprietor was very friendly, helpful, and outgoing. The food was very traditional American, and very good. The only thing that was lacking was speed, but that can be expected when two people are making good, fresh food for some hungry Scouts-- and it is the only complaint that I had after eating there. I even ate there on our return journey 10 days later.
