Old Chicago Pizza + Taproom

service was great! the pizza wasn't bad but nothing special. its been a few year since been here but i seem to remember the pizza coming out in the deep dish pan?? the mixed drinks were good and not too $$ nice decor and atmosphere

Good people and good food. After a long day at work, a seat at the bar, a Chicago 7 pizza and a Stela Artois and my world is right. The staff here is always nice e and professional (and Chiefs fans). A seat at the bar is guaranteed to make you a friend. For being a natio al chain, there is definitely a neighborhood vibe gi en most of the bar patrons are local and regular. I highly reccomend if you are in NKC.

Read prior reviews and was skeptical. But this restaurant came through. Party of 6 and we were seated quickly. The restaurant was clean. our server was super nice and prompt. The pizza was and other items ordered were great! Food came out quickly and was hot and quality was on par. Pleasantly surprised! Would return to this Old Chicago location.

Not sure why ratings for here are so low but I've been here probably a dozen times for lunch and have always enjoyed the service, the atmosphere and most importantly, the food every time. The hand-tossed pizza crust is my favorite and a two-topping pizza with a salad and drink is a common lunch special. You can get a specialty pizza for just a buck or two more. The food other than pizza is okay to terrific depending on your tastes and what you order. Disclaimer time: I don't drink alcohol at all so I can't tell you how the "taproom" part goes, so apologies from me there.

This is an amazing place to hang out! The bartender, Joanna, is very friendly and attentive! She always remembers what I drink and never forgets my lime! She's peachy!

My husband and I stopped in right before close for a late night drink and snack. We ordered 2 beers off of their late night menu and two orders of Sicilian rolls to go. Our bartender Kelsey was super sweet and made sure we had our order in before last call. Given the time they went above and beyond accommodating us, and the food is always amazing.

The service was the BEST I've had, the server was so funny and enthusiastic! The place is has a friends vibe. My spicy chicken sandwich was good but not the best I've had. The fries are a little seasoned. The spaghetti and meatballs were ok and could use more seasoning.

the worst ever!!! the hostess sat us as far back in the place as possible, gave us the menu and said your waitress will be right with you!!! 15 minutes later still no waitress and it wasnt that busy maybe 15 people in the whole fuckin place‼ fuck you and your pizza dont care if i ever walk back in this pos place‼ i wouldnt even piss on it if it was burning ‼‼‼ word to the wise dont waste your time or money‼‼‼

We've avoided Old Chicago for awhile, bad service, mediocre food at the Kansas North location.Received a gift card for Christmas, so we reluctantly went to the NKC location.Service was great, food not so much.I ordered a personal Nashville Hot Chicken pizza.It was a mess when it came out, looked like it had been thrown together. It had 5 small... I mean small, pieces of chicken on the whole thing. The pieces were the size of a small marble. The crust was soggy and uneatable.My wife ordered the Pesto Chicken pasta. They must have been low on chicken, 4/5 pieces in there.The service was great. I didn't push the quality of food with the server, expectations were pretty low going in.I'd go back and have a beer at the bar, that would be about it.

I had never been to any OC in my life. I discovered this wonderful OC location when my family brought me here for Father's Day 2023. I saw the 40 taps and a great selection of craft beers, including an excellent variety of IPAs. They had me at hello. I'm a sucker for a good Happy Hour, and I saw they have a great Late Night Happy Hour going on Fridays and Saturdays. I have been coming here every Friday and Saturday night since then,. It's become my main hangout to eat, drink and socialize. The regulars, the food, the service, the beers! Kelsey and Joanna always take really good care of me, and the entire staff are like family now. I love visiting with the many, many random business travelers and tourists from the two hotels next door, right off Interstate 35. I lived in the Old Town entertainment district in Fort Collins Colorado for 3 years. The warm, friendly and picturesque ambience here beats most of those wonderful bars, and rivals the best. Great job, guys. Keep it coming. You make me feel like Norm. Cheers!
