Great theater. Great community. Great times! I love the variety of programming they provide and have always enjoyed myself while seeing their shows.

This small and very intimate theatre in an old church near downtown Olathe is really neat on its own, but then you add a British farce play with great acting and you have a wonderful date night!This theatre seats maybe 50 people tops which means there is not a bad seat in the place. You are literally 20ft from the actors when you are in the back row so you wont miss a thing. We came on opening night of "No Sex Please. We're British!" and it was a fun play that had us laughing throughout the show. TIP: Opening night there is a reception after the show so you get to mingle with the actors and director of the show, very cool. Highly recommend catching a show here if you can! Its a perfect date night idea!

Great community theatre. Fun to perform here and fun to visit - come see a show here, you won't be disappointed!

I just saw Kimberly Akimbo at Olathe Civic Theater. I have seen 100s of non-professional theater productions over 50 years and volunteered as a stage manager for many of them, and this production has the finest acting I have ever experienced. The actors, director and the other tech people had a wonderful work of literature to present, and they did it proud. I also see many professional theater productions, including in New York and London, and this production equaled all that I have ever seen. There were about 30 people in the audience during my Sunday afternoon performance, but the actors gave their all, as if they were playing in a major theater on Broadway. This is probably the 8th production I've seen at OCT, and they have all been top quality performances.
