Always quick, friendly, and consistently good food. Never had a wow drink, but they're fine.

Initial review... so there is room for more stars in the future.Sorry, no pictures... I was too hungry!My date ordered the Salmon and I ordered the trout. So the first issue... it tasted the same. The Salmon had a little bit of a better crunch to it. Both had the Steamed veggies and the Rice Pilaf. All of which were not seasoned in any way. The Guinness was cold so that was a win. I want to be very clear... the food wasn't bad. But, it was seasoned for your average nursing home. But, maybe the issue is what I ordered. The menu is also filled with Irish favourites like Irish Stew and Fish 'n' Chips. Also tried the brownie that the place is named for. I can't recommend it. Tasted like chocolate cake... and was very dry. I would have been fine with the ice cream, but my lactose-rejecting stomach said no.The atmosphere here is something to rave about! Classic dark wood Irish pub feel. The real kind... not a sports bar posing as an Irish pub. Also Guinness on tap and cider drinks! Way to go!Our waitress was quick and very friendly. She came by our table constantly and checked on us again, and again (and again, and again, and...) you get the point. This was still WAY better than the bartender that we listened to complain to every customer that came in about pretty much anything and everything. Bad Day? Maybe... but the complaints were just generic downer-type stuff. Maybe that helps get better tips in some circles... but can't help but mention it in the review and take it into consideration when going back.All that said... I will be back and try it again. Will likely stick with the Irish standards that time. Maybe they will get the other stars!

Had not been here for many years due to moving out of the area. We went back on a Friday night and had a great time. The service was fast and friendly. My wife and I had the Reuben sandwiches and they are as good as ever. Our friends had the Friday shrimp special and country fried steak. The country fried steak portion was enormous, easily enough for two meals. I had an old fashioned cocktail and it was good. I've had a lot better but it wasn't bad just average.

We were doing that thing where you drive around until a place looks good. Do you do that? We just couldn't decide what we wanted. It was Saturday before noon, it wasn't super busy and the people there seemed like they might be regulars. A few people came in for pick up orders.We ordered fish and chips and a Reuben with a fruit cup as the side.It took awhile for the food, but not a horrible amount of time. You could hear a lot of yakking in the back, not saying that contributed to the wait, but it could have.The fish was very tasty. It didn't look like much, kind of more the size of chicken tenders, but I appreciated the delicate breading and ended up really enjoying them. The "chips" were fine, freezer bag fries. The coleslaw wasn't bad, but quite bland. There was something refreshing about it, but disappointing at the same time. I left most of it.The fruit cup that came with the Reuben had a few pieces of brown sad fruit right on top, which is sad that they would even serve something like that and didn't even say anything about the fact when they picked up the plates. The Reuben was more of a chopped meat sandwich than nice slices of meat. This made for it being quite dry and messy to eat.While the fish was really tasty, the rest of the experience was ho-hum enough that I doubt we'd go back.

O'Neill's is a relaxed Irish pub in Leawood (a short drive from KC). We eat at this restaurant once a month during our monthly meetings! We love eating here because of the delicious food, spacious seating/conference room, and fantastic service. I ordered the Chicken Marsala entree which consisted of lightly breaded chicken with a creamy mushroom marsala sauce. The chicken and sauce was served over thick & tasty mashed potatoes. Another table favorite was the classic Country Fried Steak meal that was served with mashed potatoes and veggies. Looking for an Irish pub to eat/drink at?? This is the spot!

nice bar layout, TVs everywhere, great comfort food and mega customer service. also has a back room for groups.

Stopped in for a quick lunch today. I decided to enjoy a wedge salad and the potato soup. The wedge salad was delicious, crisp and fresh, with crispy bacon, tomato, in some of the best blue cheese I've ever tasted. The potato soup is a staple, creamy and delicious with cheese bacon and scallions. My server Melissa was just the sweetest. Thanks for another delicious meal!! The lighting makes talking a pic challenging, but I got one;

Great pot roast!!! Great Bruschetta!!! Great drinks!!!! Service was awesome!!! Will def. Go back to try more dishes!!!!

This was my first time here and I have to say I will have to go back. I was with a large party and they took great care of us. The portion was so big and it tasted so good! The atmosphere was so fun and it is definitely a happy hour spot. Their menu has select items, but their portions are large and they have mastered every item in the menu. Definitely a spot to check out!

Excellent food. Reasonable prices. Pub atmosphere. Friday night shrimp night is delicious.
