We had hard wood flooring installed throughout our main floor and carpet upstairs replacing old nasty carpet. Tonea assisted us from the Raytown store. Initially she brought samples to our home & also took pieces of our marble flooring back to the store to explore other options. I can't say enough good things about her patience and expertise. The install came off wonderfully. I highly recommend Northcraft!

Dealing with Northcraft in Raytown was a horrible experience. We showed up and our appointment was not on their schedule. We rescheduled to the next day and was told Jill would help us. She didn't come in that day so Lori was assigned to us. She was not familiar with our builders account so it was challenging to make selections. We later received two price lists with two different amounts that we had to question. Building a new home and making design selections should be a good experience. Our confidence with Northcraft is extremely low, we hope we made all selections and they were recorded and priced accurately. I cannot, in good faith, recommend Northcraft to family and friends.

I went to the Raytown store 3 years ago to see about granite counter tops I met a young lady nice smile warm greetings her name was Toneal after we did measurements came up with price 2 weeks later I lost my job . 2 years later I decided to get it done went back to the store what do you know the young lady greeted me again she still had the measurements she remembered my name wonderful we got the counter tops very happy . 6 months later decided to get tile on the small bathroom in the main bathroom she picked the colors which I trusted her judgement We set a date for the installers to come put the tile down . I took the toilet out the sink and cabinets . What I forgot was I left my dewalt drill in there . Since they been here I have not been able find it .I don't want to use the word steal it is such it such a harsh label to accuse someone of stealing so maybe they mistakenly took it called and asked about haven't heard back

We got flooring from the Lee's Summit location. We will not be returning. The installers were great. The sales team was not. They failed to tell us that it was our responsibility to purchase and paint the trim for the flooring. We got the floor installed, then found out a week later about the trim. It was not mentioned anywhere in the contract. Getting returned phone calls was difficult. The installers had to return to install the trim after we got it. They had to finish on a Friday night because the salesperson forgot to put us on the schedule. They never apologized for all the confusion

After purchasing a home in a rural city, we decided to wait to move in because we wanted to have the carpet ripped out and Luxury Vinyl Tile installed. While waiting for the install we have expenses on 2 homes but thought it best to get floors done first without our furniture there. We also were having the same flooring in the basement to finish it so it was a big job. Jessie came out with 4 samples of a USA made brand we liked that she said she had in stock so we made a selection. After getting the bid from Jessie almost a week later, we went to the Lee's Summit store to pay the deposit and signed the contract which they call an "Acknowledgment". We learned that now the product was no longer in stock but Jessie contacted the Co and assured us the product was "being made" and the install would happen 7/21/2021. We agreed and held off our move. This was on 6/25/21. The sooner we could move the sooner we could put our current home up for sale. On July 15th (3 weeks later) we hadn't heard anything more so I emailed Jessie asking to confirm our 21st install date. She responded that there was now a problem and our flooring wouldn't arrive there until 9/13. We cannot wait that long to move so obviously I was not happy. Who would be? Later I told Jessie we understood it wasn't her fault and took her up on her offer to come out Friday 7/16 bringing other samples she said they had in stock. We picked one and I actually liked it better. While at our home, Jessie indicated they did not have enough to do both levels but would be getting more in mid August. She was trying to get enough to do our main level on July 21st as agreed but feared they may not be able to get enough to do all of the bedrooms. She seemed hopeful that she could get it done and was "working on it". After she left, I emailed her saying we would like to go ahead and start install on the 21st for the upper level and if we had to leave a bedroom undone along with the basement until their August supply arrived that would be fine. This would allow us to move into the main level without our furniture there so we were excited that it was working out. Problem solved or so we thought! This morning, July 19th, 2 days before the installation date I got a call from the manager named Kristy who was completely Irate from the get go. It was clear she was looking for a fight. No question about it. This lunatic said they would not be doing our flooring at all!!! She implied we were threatening and horrible to Jessie which is completely untrue. We thought everything was good and we were happy with what seemed to be working out. Kristy was not even there yet she kept screaming over me as I tried to tell her we had it all worked out with Jessie. Come to find out Kristy didn't even know I sent Jessie the email indicating all was a go for the 21st. She just continued to yell while I tried to reason with her until I finally got angry and hung up. As a customer who was spending a great deal of money, I had enough of her strange bizarre behavior. Kristy kept saying "I feel like" this and that. Honestly I don't care what she feels and finally told her that. This was business that was being worked out until she butted in and ruined everything. I'm convinced Kristy may have some very very serious mental issues. It's clear to me this woman is not reasonable or rational or maybe even sane as she was just seething the whole time. As a customer spending a great deal of money, WE DID NOTHING WRONG but try to work with them for much longer than we should have as we got drug along for weeks. Yet somehow Kristy was trying to blame us. They wasted no time cashing our check and now Kristy claims a refund check is "in the mail". We shall see.Bottom line, they have had our deposit for weeks and now are leaving us high and dry so we have to start all over. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER at a time when we are already stressed. After reading many of the BAD REVIEWS ON NORTHCRAFT, I now believe this was a BLESSING in disguise. I don't recommend ever hiring this Company.

I have built several houses and the last one we bought we had to deal with Northcraft in Raytown. This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Our Rep, Amy just wants to get rid of you. She won't answer your calls, and won't return your calls. She was terrible! Pushed their engineers flooring and it is terrible. Don't listen to her con job sales pitches. She is pathetic. If I had to do it again I would not buy a house that you have to do business with this company. Go to ProSource.

1. Their wood flooring has begun to chip and come up after only a year. 2. They ask for partial payment before even scheduling for the work to be done. 3. They do not show up for their appointments and hen when you call the office no one is able to answer any questions except for Jill. Jill then does not return or answer any phone calls. Poor products, poor installation, and poor employees/owners.

We have used Northcraft Flooring for 3 major remodels in the past 10years, both for carpet and extensive tile work. They are fantastic to work with. Their showroom is amazing. They have decorators on staff to help you pick our everything and coordinate, which was a blessing (no added charge). Jay Alewel is very dedicated to his clients, Becca and Angie the decorators were fantastic, and Eric our tilesetter is amazing. I am a picky person and they have delivered every time! Highly recommend!!!
