Stopped here for a couple of pints of brewage one fine Friday evening and emerged a fitter, happier person. While not the most comprehensive of beer menus, the offerings mainly being sours and IPAs, the two hop juices I tried were flavorsome and gratifying. The interior, at least up front by the bar, was a bit gloomy and dark, perfect for a clandestine meeting of secret brotherhoods or some such thing, where getting too relaxed would be frowned upon. The back room has more comfortable seating, with more of an easy going aesthetic. Our server was super friendly, we enjoyed our suds, and am happy to have discovered the joint.

Stopped by Nimble while brewery hopping in the crossroads. The vibe was super chill, a little dark, and calm. None of the beers on the menu grabbed my attention, so I ordered the house sour cocktail. It was strong and delish! Would definitely get it again! Service was great!

I loved it here. Mango Nectar was my absolute favorite. Was so nice that I was able to take my dog inside. It wasn't as busy as the other breweries I had been to that day, which I think is such a shame as it's definitely one of my new favorites. The prices are hard to beat too!

Nimble is a welcome addition to the Crossroads brewery scene! The taproom just opened down the alley from Double Shift and Border. The inside space is way bigger than I expected for the size of buildings in the area. The family that owns and operates the business are incredibly outgoing and friendly people! They made us feel like we were part of their family the moment we stepped inside.Prices are more than fair, especially for flights and good guest beers. They have craft beer that you can typically only find at places like The Pairing and Plaza Liquor for $5-$7 (which is what you'd pay at those places). I was a big fan of the sour and the gose they had on tap and am very excited for their different variations of IPAs and milkshake IPAs. Support an incredible local business and family!

BeerSauce Road Trip - Nimble Brewing Our downtown KC Brewery-Hop ended at Nimble Brewing, a new nano brewery and higher-end whiskey cocktail bar in the East Crossroads Neighborhood. Utilizing a simple 1-bbl system, Nimble actively experiments with sours. They also grow their own herbs and garnish for the cocktails in the back of their shop alongside a few super comfy lounge couches. This is a chill easy-going spot for your much needed date night.

The production of beer can be considered an art, so it makes perfect sense that The Crossroads has become the home to so many breweries; my unofficial count brings the total to 7 with Nimble Brewing's recent opening.Nimble seems to be a unique brewery in that you will not see large vats brewing 100's or even dozens of gallons of beer. What you will see is multiple micro brewing stations creating beers by a few gallons at a time. I popped in to take home a 4-pack this weekend. I was asked to order the to-go order on-line so the system could track inventory and he wouldn't be selling the last of any product and having to short an on-line purchaser that might be picking up later. Makes sense to me; with the all the new procedures caused by Covid-19, I have been ordering a lot of carry-out via websites. A new reality.Anyway, the beer that I consumed at home later was Double Fluff - a DIPA @ 7.8 APV. This one hit all the right notes for me.; smooth, complex, hoppy but not overpowering and a nice ABV to get the job done. I drank 3 and reluctantly traded one to a buddy to see if he agreed with my positive assumptions - he did. My new favorite beer of my nine week pandemic brewery tour. The other great thing about Nimble is that not only are they rotating small batch artisan beers on tap, but serving a full bar with other locally sourced wines and spirits. I spent about 10 minutes talking with Jodie (sp?) - the co-owner, along with her husband; a very friendly person with a passion for the brewery and the neighborhood. I'm eager to return for an in-house experience.

After hearing so much about this spot we were finally able to visit ourselves! Makes for a great spot on a crossroads brewery tour / during crossroads exploration. We only really looked at the beer menu, but they seemed to have a cocktail and bar menu available as well. They don't have a lot of beer selections; and they rotate seasonally or monthly, but they definitely know what they're doing! For a smaller menu, they had options that appealed to me and my husband. He tried an IPA while I had a peach sour. I can't speak much to his, but mine was good! Lots of peach flavor, with notes of coriander and overall not too sour (considering it was a sour). Doesn't seem like a place I could go back to and have the same beer; but I look forward to seeing what else they brew!

I ordered a flavored margarita on a slow afternoon and it was served to me a little over half full. It tasted only of tequila, had no other flavor. It was simply undrinkable. I regretted spending over $9 including tip.

Wasn't wowed by anything. Kind of a weird vibe. Things looks like they are still putting things together and figuring it out. Not sure how long they've been around. Bartenders seemed to be all over the place.
