Nick and Jake's, I would like to send you a love letter...so, I will review instead. We are chronic DoorDash patrons, you are always hot, prepared well, large portioned, delicious comfort food.If I may suggest one tiny thing....please change up the menu, even one item, along with dessert. We have grown bored eating the exact same meals/desserts since Covid.

Last time i was here was a year ago. Today, came back for brunch with family. The place still busy as ever. The place looks wonderful as it does. The staff are friendly. The food was amazing!!! Try out their fried chicken steak. crab cake Benedict, shrimp n grits, and chicken n waffles. The only negative is that we waited30mins for our food. The quiche was overcooked but management fixed that right away.

Grabbed dinner with a large group to celebrate a friend's going away. We made a reservation and they sat us in their private -ish room. It was great. The firecracker chicken salad is always my go-to. It was spicy and delicious, per usual. Service was a little slow, but other than that, it was a good experience.

I like Nick & Jake's. Been to both locations and they are consistently good and delicious. Nice dining areas, not too loud, and comfortable. Our server was patient with us ordering and helped us with some selections. I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich and sweet tater fries. Juicy and delicious! I'll be back!

Came for a late Sunday lunch and joined a party already there. Our server Erik grabbed our food and drink orders right away and provided suggestions on what to get. I had the bowl of crab bisque which was very good (but rich!) and a small Jake's salad, husband had the firecracker sandwich special which he really liked especially the heat. I thought the portions were huge for price! The food was good but the service from Erik was what made this a 5 star experience.

I come here fairly frequently and I appreciate as a general rule the scratch kitchen and menu variety. My last visit was super disappointing grabbing lunch with my kiddo and we had a difficult time getting service. It seemed as if no one was assigned to our table or section so we just waited oddly with no greeting. The kicker for me was there seemed to be about four girls working the hostess station and again from afar with generally no care in the world and not really seeming super service oriented. I say that because when approached and I asked if we had a server assigned or they could check, the hostess was snobbish and indifferent. End of day, we finally got our food and the quality was good as we expected. The wait was long and the overall service, the attitude I would say, made it a bummer. No apologies ever. I suggest .. Egos in check my friends ... What sucked for me was this was a big teaching outing we set up for my middle school kid. She was paying for lunch with "her money" and we were discussing all things hospitality, quality, food service, ordering, etiquette, principles of waiting tables, kitchen impact and tipping. Ambiance - freezing cold inside on a warm day outside; high top table which wasn't comfortable and apparently didn't have assigned servers.
