We're back! It's Thursday at 2 PM. A fav when in Sedalia. I'm have'g sashimi, a Kimono roll and sake, Sayuri Nigori. Sunshine is have'g a Spider and an Exotic Lady rolls, and various sushi. Central rural MO's best go to for sushi! Our server was attentive and informative. Soft jazz playing overhead, modern decor, sushi bar seating, and, most importantly, CLEAN!My $0.02

We've visited several times now and have had a great experience every time. The staff are friendly, the food is yummy & the bathrooms are clean! Great for large groups or just two!

No other words but DELICIOUS!In from BENTONVILLE to visit my daughter and we had the 3 piece sushi lunch special.Enough to satisfy feeding 3 of us.We sat at the sushi bar, sushi chef gave of samples of what he called the "angry wife" i don't think that is what it really called but it was GREAT as wellOur other rolls were:Hollywood crab -2 Spicy crabPhiladelphia rollShrimp temperaBoston rolls Highly recommend this place !!!

Beautiful restaurant. Have had good food in the past as well as their sister restaurant in Marshall. But this ribeye was, by far, the worst ribeye I have ever had. Waiter tried to play it off that it was just bigger than normal. Ummmm no. I whacked and whacked at this thing and it was inedible. Large strips of fat that had a mean streak you couldn't cut through. Their fix? Offer me a VIP discount. They did not fix it.. did not take it back. Left me with an inedible steak. I won't be back. Good thing I liked the onion soup and the water.

2nd trip here and we will continue coming back each time we are in Sedalia. Both visits we had a large table with many preferences. Every single person enjoyed their meal, as well as the drink. Get yourself a ginger martini!

It's mediocre. The waitstaff was clueless as to what some of the sushi items were. They didn't know the names of the items and were repeatedly asking me to clarify if I had ordered sashimi or sushi. Some of the cooked dishes are presented well, but the flavor isn't there. I always worry about the raw food being fresh in small towns and since I know how difficult it is to get sushi grade fish in Sedalia. I eat a lot of good Sushi in cities and this just isn't up to that level. Why spend the money here with amateurs when I can drive fifty miles and get high quality fresh sushi that is expertly prepared by trained sushi chefs.

Great hibachi and the fried rice is spectacular!One of our favorite places to eat. Have had this and teriyaki and both amazing.Service great as well

Drove up from Jefferson City to try them. The restaurant is very attractive with the decor. We were greeted at the door and promptly seated. Ordered drinks and appetizers both were great. Our dinners were super Our server Jerry did a great job. I recommend

As always they provide a beautiful ambience, a front of house staff that is excellent in all things and a sushi chef that absolutely nails it every time. The tropical chef special roll while I would say is a 7/10, that is high praise. A 5 being average and a 10 is perfection, I could not give Morimoto himself a perfect 10. The sweet kiwi/strawberry with the honey wasabi was an astounding explosion of flavor in my mouth with all the delicious popping tobiko was a pleasure to eat. The salmon carpaccio is always a must. My love for a la carte eel and surf clam was great. Slight gripe on using spicy mayo on the boston roll, should be very light regular mayo. Sam is an absolute king of the dining room in his manager position and Wina is the best of service one could ask for. Stellar experience, if you're anywhere near Sedalia and a sushi lover; this is the spot.

This place was delicious! We will definitely be back. Great service& great environment overall.
