Nature's Own

I frequented this spot during the height of the pandemic, but since then have moved further away. It's an occasional stop these days, but it has some great healthy produce, coffee, kombucha, and other staples. Not a place for a CostCo type of run, but more for niche local items.My favorite and my frequent purchase here? Their coffee. More specifically, their Oddly Correct and Thou Mayest beans. It's nice to splurge on the good stuff every so often, and also nice to gift these beans to coffee lovers around the holidays. From what I can tell on a recent visit, they've scrapped their bulk buy items which is honestly a good call. I had freshness issues with both their oats and popcorn in the past.Lots of parking but also a part what my family calls the intersection of death. Home to totaled cars and fender benders over the decades, traverse this intersection at your own peril!

Local. Friendly. Decent selection. Not a big box store. Effective use of space. I will definitely be back.

This mostly organic grocer in the Westport area has premium and specialty brands for packaged goods, and organic perishables and produce. It's an acceptable but small alternative to the national chains.

Great little store. I've always been overwhelmed by massive grocery stores and the million options of cereal boxes and yogurts can be a bit much toprocess. Nature's Own is small but just the right size, if you're picking up last minute ingredients or need a few things to get you through the week. The cashiers were helpful and greet you as you walk in the door. I've been on the hunt for pine nuts and found it in this little gem of a store- reasonably priced and packed in plastic container that allows you to travel with.Didn't have a chance to try the local kombucha on tap. They also have a spot in the back of the store where you can fill your water gallons, think it was 39 cents per gallon. If you're a senior citizen comevisit on a Tuesday and get a discount! Lovely store I'll be back for sure. Smaller store with roots in the local market.

Coming to KC from California and Colorado, the only downside we have faced is the relative lack of markets with strong and varied organic produce selection and vegan choices. This spot is far smaller than Whole Foods, yet manages to have an equal if not superior selection in both categories, plus the satisfaction of supporting a locally-owned business... I *really* wanted this to be a 5 star review but - since I asked at checkout when exotic mushrooms came into stock, and the cashier didn't know or offer to find out despite the fact that no one was behind me in line - I can't quite make that leap. Yet. But hopefully when we return - which we most certainly will! - I'll be shown reason for and A+ update!

I was so impressed when I found this spot! They manage to fit so much stuff in the space they have and have stuff I haven't seen in other stores. I was happy to be able to find a place close to my hotel to get some vegan snacks from. My cashier was so nice and I would highly recommend this place to anyone look for a health store with good options!

They have an awesome variety of vegan, natural, local, and sustainably sourced foods! The staff is also very friendly and helpful - this is my new favorite regular spot!

This was an awesome addition to the Westport neighborhood! I love eating healthy, Kombucha, and granola galore! This place has all of that for not a bad price!! I can get overwhelmed walking into Whole Foods, or Sprouts so this is a nice alternative if you are on the go and don't want to hassle with as much traffic and people goers!

Great little grocery store to serve the West Plaza and Volker neighborhoods. A great selection of local brands. It's able to serve as my main grocery store. I rarely need to go to a larger store. The staff is very friendly and helpful.
