My Place Hotel-Overland Park, KS

Inexpensive option. Good location. Very little customer service here. Stayed 5 nights. No one swapped out towels the whole stay. Broken shower curtain rod so we moved to another room. Another broken shower rod and a broken toilet seat. It took multiple requests to get maintenance to do anything.

What can I say.....zero stars. Unhelpful staff and turned the light on in the bathroom to find 20 plus cockroaches! I puked and checked out at 5:00 am, refund was denied by the desk clerk.There were, also some kind of long, skinny worms climbing up the wall. So gross. Well, after Expedia contacted the hotel my money was refunded.

Weird experience, nothing like the my place in twin falls idaho . No continental breakfast, no maid service daily, got a room that we did not book . Not at all what we saw on line .

This place was pretty nice. They accommodate for a big dog who weighs about 80 pounds, and a second puppy. The rooms were nice and clean with a stove, microwave and full sized fridge. The only complaint was they had a large list of TV channels, but then when I went to flip through the channels, there were about 10 channels...

Looking through the previous reviews we didn't have as bad of an experience. Came in late after delays in flights in St. Louis. Front desk was very accommodating. No bugs or worms like one person said. Way more than 10 channels on the TV so big improvements there. Beds were comfortable. The reason for the three stars was found a couple pieces of chewed gum on the top rim of the shower. If the cleaning crew can't spot those, what else are they missing.....

Terrible place, very dirty and disgusting. Filthy for being in this area. Nobody wants to stay in a super gross room with all sorts of bugs. Saw so many bugs in the room and the staff disregarded everything. I would never return to this terrible place.

It is an Overland Park mandate that masks are to be worn in public places; however, this hotel has nothing posted nor do they enforce this mandate. Nothing is posted anywhere.!This hotel has people coming to stay from all over the country and I do not feel safe here. We though we were getting our room cleaned once a week, but we were told no .... every two weeks.They do have stove and fridge; however, you have to buy your own plates, cookware,glassware and utensilsStay at your own risk!

This hotel was amazing! I am picky and I loved the sheets and the beds. It smells so good in there like new. Our room was extremely clean. We moved to SC and had to stay after packing. This hotel was a bright spot in a rough day. The manager was so kind and accommodating- she let us keep our reservation until we knew we'd need to cancel it. I really can't say enough. Pleasant outside and it's a plus to be right next to a good restaurant.

My favorite place to stay for trips to KUMed. Quiet location with convenient access to eating, grocery, gas etc. This is a welcoming experience every time. The entry is always clean, the guest services items are well stocked and reasonably priced. The staff makes the experience even better. Friendly, professional, warm and welcoming. The rooms are spacious, clean, bright, with kitchenette, ice maker in the freezer, full size microwave too. Beds and bedding are very nice. Jadyn at the front desk made our stay and need to extend days due to ice storms and treacherous roads, less stressful and even effortless. It's easy to see the compassion and willingness to accommodate the guests in this hotel and with its top notch staffing.

bed bugs stay away!!!!! this place is infested with bed bugs general manager "tay'yah" hung up in my face! i was bit all over by bed bugs! manager admitted to having a pest issue pretended she would have management reach out and never did i will be contacting corporate stay away from this hotel very dirty! doing nothing about their pest issue! worst than a motel 6!
