Museum Of Illusions

If you're at union station, then this small museum is a fun unique way to spend an hour of your time. Be forewarned, if you get motion sickness easily then you might feel a little nauseated after haha. Each exhibit has an explanation on how to view the illusion or the science behind them. When I was there on a weekday, I had the whole place to myself and got to really enjoy all the illusions. Do yourself a favor and skip looking at the photos so you can be surprised! And check Groupon because there's usually a deal!

Over priced and over rated.Too small.Things looked old and touched too much.Wack! Don't waste your time or money.

This place is GREAT. Short experience, but fun. I went through the vortex tunnel 5 times. Not very cheap for the length of the activity. But not terribly expensive.

Stopped by on a date at union station. Certainly more of a photo op than a full on "museum" but definitely charming!!I agree this is not worth it for your whole trip, but a great stop if you're already at union station and looking for something to do for a half hour or so. I agree probably not worth the price for taking family with kids, but was fine for my husband and I. Happy that we did once, definitely won't be doing again.

We had a good time for... 30 minutes. For being $16 a person I don't think it's worth it. The whole "museum" is probably under 1,000 sqft and most of the illusions you'd find on Instagram. Pictured are the two photo ops.

One of first sightseeing stops in Kansas City fir this trip! It's inside Union Station! Very easy to find and you're able to purchase tickets outside their venue. Since some of the museum is motion and can make you dizzy but its a super fun place! The people working were super friendly as well. We had a blast going through each piece by piece of everything and having a ton of fun! :)

Fun way to spend the day in Kansas City! This place is what you make of it. If you go in with a playful spirit and positive attitude, you will have a blast. The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and offered to take pictures of us. Good value for a spontaneous afternoon.

Waste of money. Go upstairs to the science city if you want to have fun. It was like 2 rooms of stuff.

$20 is such a rip off. I was expecting more illusions than just a few rooms. Some of the illusions could be found on a quick Google search too. Save your money, it's not worth $20 for 5-10 minutes.

Fun for photo ops but really not much else to do. Interactive pieces were all in rough condition and we finished the entire museum in about 20 minutes. It would be a fun stop by, but definitely not worth the ticket price.
