Last time we were here, this was a Callahans but that was decades ago. The food here is legit. The waitress recommended the meatloaf special and it was fantastic. Came with mashed potatoes and brown gravy and green beans. Huge portion was plenty to eat. Homemade meatloaf is evidently a Friday night special now for $14. I also had a Jim Beam and Coke and the pour was generous. Lots of TVs for watching sports and they have a small area forLive music. Other people around us had great looking burgers and pizza. We will be back soon

the workers here were very nice and welcoming and the vibes here were great ! I did order food on a busy day so it did take forever for me to get my food so I didn't mind but the food really wasn't good and it was really overpriced. I wouldn't recommend buying food from here but I would recommend going to go watch the game, have some drinks and have fun!!

Murphy's prides themselves on their made from scratch pub fare and they rightly should-- it was our first visit and everything was DELICIOUS. We customized a 16" pizza, had the hand breaded chicken strips with homemade coleslaw and hand cut fries-- awesome. Highly impressed that even the coleslaw had a true 10/10 recipe. The server also highly recommended the French dip and Salmon dip (served cold with warm pita), and we will be back for those soon. A true endorsement from our server was that there were foods/dishes coming into this job that he didn't think he liked and then Murphy's changed his mind. He also talked us into their homemade Chardonnay cake- for any Bundt cake lovers, it's a must! Monday's are Cajun nights and live music, there are $2 off specials Tuesday-Thursday and Fridays are for the meatloaf-- can't wait to try that too.The ambiance is brightly lit, classic pub vibes- all attire and humans accepted- definitely feels like it's a place where eventually everyone would know your name! Also a great spot to watch Chiefs and KU games- screens everywhere!

First time here! Our waitress for our lunch was great. She was quick to keep our drinks filled and very friendly. We both ordered chicken Cobb salads. They were great. A tad on the more expensive side at $16 for each salad. I also got a side of the pub chips (homemade potato chip) to try. They were $6 and came with a side of ranch. Yummy but also maybe a dollar or two more than I would expect. Decor was cute and the place was clean!

This is a great spot. All the food I've had has been really great. There's plenty of TV's and seating. They sometimes have live music. We went in later in the evening after a long day with my dad in the hospital and our waiter gave us a free sympathy dessert! Stop in and check them out.

This is the old Calahan's that was picked up by a whole new crew and rebranded this last spring!The food is fantastic! And now that they are offering brunch expect even more varied kitchen options. Pictured you should find the shrimp and grits from their Brunch!The bar is a full service with quite a few options and extremely competent and accommodating bartenders who can shake you up most concoctions or pour your beer whichever is your pleasure.The staff is amazing! They are quick when they need to be but also attentive and even talkative when the atmosphere allows for it.This IS my new Neighborhood Bar. I look forward to seeing you here... I'll be in the cap. This place saved our trip! Our server took care of us so incredibly well - we came in after a night of a little too much liquid fun, and our server provided the giggles, drink refills to our hearts content, and safety food. We loved our appetizer, a salmon dip that melted in our mouths. We were informed it was in a contest that is thrown annually & we could see why!! SOO GOOD. My husbands fries stole the show & everything was amazing.

If you are looking for a great sports bar with some good food then you need to check is out. This location/restaurant was originally callaghan's but changed name and menu. I think it's a better menu and the staff is really nice and attentive. Perfect place to watch a chiefs game!

We started coming to Murphy's after it reopened when Callaghan's closed. We were impressed with the atmosphere, food quality, and service. This evening we decided to have carry out. Needless to say, we were extremely disappointed by our order. The French fries seemed to come from the bottom of the skillet and the turkey sandwich was just ok. We hope this was just one bad experience and not the experience of 2025.

Exactly what a sports bar restaurant should be! Friendly staff, good food, decent drinks and the game on!
