If I could give the production "It's A Wonderful Life" at the MTH Theatre ten stars I would! We took our entire family to the last performance of the year and it was such an original production (acted out as a live radio play) that was heart-warming, consistent with the movie plot, and intimate.I've been to several productions at MTH and have never been disappointed. Crown Center is beautiful (be sure to allow enough time to find parking, it's free with a validated ticket in the parking garages). The lobby opens up early where you can get a snack and/or drink to take into the theatre. The actors are very talented and the price is actually affordable, especially when your are trying to take a family of seven to a holiday show. Compared with other venues in the city, MTH won't break the bank and provides an afternoon or evening of wonderful entertainment. A run don' t walk recommendation!

After seeing a couple of shows here, I am convinced that this is one of the most talented theater companies in town. The shows are always incredible and the acting talent is off the charts. This production of the Glass Menagerie is unlike anything I've ever seen. The whole experience is first class. The folks in the box office are amazing, as are the bartenders and ushers. Everyone here is happy to be here and enjoys their work, whether they're helping patrons or on stage or playing instruments. The theater is intimate and immaculate. Tim Scott is an incredible Director and always brings a creative twist to every show. We are so glad that we bought season tickets for the first time this year to support this incredible cast, crew and supporting staff.

Ain't Misbehavin' Live Performancr, featuring, Andrea Tribitt, Asa Barnes, Ayana Tribett, Ron Lackey, and Morgan Walker! It's a MUST SEE! The lighting, musicians, singers, and bartenders did a fantastic job. You don't want to miss this performance. Get your tickets online. The theater is inside Crown Center, on the north side of Hall's (3rd level). The facility is clean and vibrant.https://musictheaterheritage.com/tickets/

We attended the Edgar Allen Poe Speakeasy in the Ruby Room at MTH and had a fabulous time! The drinks were made well and the entertainment was great. The theater was cozy and lovely. We will definitely return to other events here!

Whenever I have seen a show here I am taken with how well they are performed and thought through. There is so much raw and experienced talent in the greater Kansas City area. Most recently we saw "The Glass Menagerie" with improvisational live jazz music which really added so much more to the story. Also, there is such an easy of purchasing tickets online and having e-tickets scanned at the door. I appreciate the parking validation plentifully available as well. I also appreciate being able to bring my drink into the theatre with me so that I am not rushed. The sound system works so well that I never really notice it at all but simply listen to and enjoy the musicians and/or performers. The only issue I consistently have is with the theatre temperature, which is usually too cold and seems to blast more cold air. I've been told there is nothing that can be done to resolve the temperature setting as the mall has full control over the setting.

Out of this world! I saw A Chorus Line this past weekend. The show was spectacular! So many memories. The Theatre is quaint. No seat in the house would be bad. Easy Parking. Can't wait to see future shows there.

I was really disappointed in the value of this theatre. Kansas City has so many great theaters and this one is not my cup or tea. Saw Hair last night, tickets were $49 plus $6 fees that I thought I could avoid by buying directly from the box office but I did not. Perhaps I should've read more about the production before I went but in order to make the show more about social Justice warriors they omitted all dialogue and only sang the songs from Hair while holding BLM signs. The talent had good voices, so the songs were nice to listen to. This show does lend itself to adaptations and modernization but it didn't really make sense without any dialogue. My husband and I agree that the theatre in the park shows which are $10 each are better quality and obviously better value. We will not be returning to this theatre as there are better options.

We had a lovely time here! The ticket prices were fair and we were front row on the far right side of the stage. We saw a production of Oklahoma! and man was it unique. It was well done and after reading an overview of the story, it stayed true to the original plot. We had no idea what to expect, so that's probably where the shock came from. The theater is very different from others I have been to, but it's refreshing to have live shows to see in an intimate setting not too far from home. They have a full bar and will keep drinks for intermission out for you if you order them ahead of time. Bathroom lines are really long, so they may consider alternative options. I think the only other thing to note is that the crowd skews on the older side (50+). I'm not totally sure why, because I think the productions are suitable for many different ages, but just be prepared! I think the new marketing for MTH could help this problem, but that may be the ad agency side of me talking!

We've been here twice now and have liked both productions. It's small but comfortable. I enjoy the simple set up, but it is maybe just a little teeny bit too pricey. The reason I say that is you could go to another place and have dinner with a play for about the same price depending on the time and seating choice you make.Still, we'll definitely still attend plays here.I also suggest they could add a few more benches in the lobby and perhaps even outside of the lobby on the landing if Crown Center would allow it.

We just saw Man of La Mancha and found it to be a quality production. Our experience was was marred by the the air conditioning blowing through out the performance, I would guess the temperature to be in the 60's. I advised the manager (Alex) and he agreed it was too cold but there was nothing he could do, "I would have to call maintenance and by the time they got here the show be over." So there was something he could do by calling maintenance before the show started. He suggested we bring our winter coats or blankets for the next show. By this time a group of patrons had gathered that were also complaining about the temperature.Fred Mayfield
