I saw a bunch of negative reviews so felt obligated to drop a positive one. Great little bodega. I went in just for a drink and they had everything a normal gas station mart would have. Not overpriced. Perfect little place in this walkable neighborhood.

This funky little shop is perfect for 39th Street. It's like if CVS had a bohemian brother and a hell of a lot less square footage to work with. With all the housing and apartments around here, this is no doubt a spot to walk down and pick up a six-pack, or snacks or whatever other gas-station type of provisions you're looking for... except gas. Might be nice if there were able to swing actual gas pumps here but again space is of the essence in this historic and already built up area of midtown.I've only been in a handful of times but they're nice folks and it fits the eclectic and cool nature of the rest of 39th Street West.

First off, I love the douche who tells his tale of only being in here once and the "shady feel". Grow up, dude. Mr. Z's is a neighborhood convenience store for anything you need. It's in walking distance from many of our homes and we love the owner, staff, and advantage of having EVERYTHING close by. Booze, snacks, tin foil, bread, nail files...whatever it is, you can see your friends at Mr. Z's and get what you need. This neighborhood is amazing and Mr. Z's is a staple you can rely on.

OMG. Mr. Z! I'm a fan strictly for the fact they have Mr. Z t-shirts. I bought my dad one for father's day since afterall, he is Mr. Z.

Hah while I do like this store for the convenience I will say it is a lot like walking into a hoarders home. They definitely make use of the space in the store and pack it full of goodies.I have always avoided this place until I moved in nearby just because it always had a bit of a shady feel to it for me. It's not a bad store at all though! Like any liquor/convenience store of this magnitude expect to find all assortments of odds and ends, cut up beer boxes taped with clear masking tape to keep the goods from rolling out, and cramped aisles in the store. If you can get over the looks it's really a decent store for things you might need late night if you live in the area and need a quick item or two. Since I have only been here once, I will definitely update with more once I have been a few more times.

This little bodega, or convenience store is a easy place to walk up to (if you live in the area) or drive to (they have a small surface lot) if you need a drink, snack, cigs, etc. The building is cute, but needs some work. I can re-envision it as a cute little cafe with a patio replacing the surface parking...but I digress. It's a little dirty, but the prices are not high and it's a neighborhood mainstay!

Convenient mainstay in my hood. They carry most of the essentials you'd expect, and the prices aren't bad. But they also run out of stuff...a LOT. I have been here in July when they didn't have a single bottle of Gatorade in the cooler section. No Gatorade. In July. I'm not kidding. Yes, the place is tiny, but the concept of "you can make more money if you don't run out of stuff" doesn't seem to register. Still glad it's here though.

They have pretty much everything you need. I went in looking for just some stuff for lunch and I ended up buying $50 worth. Prices are good for an In-N-Out and food's good. Thank you
