Gray chicken. It's so gross. It's hard and stringy and when you use your fork to cut it in half all the meat looks like that.

Great location! Being from St Louis, I'm very "boujee" when it comes to my Chinese food! This place is awesome. I didn't read the previous reviews but this place is way better than a 3.5. The ambiance reminds me a restaurant nestled in the north side on Greer and Marcus. Nothing fancy but the food is good! I had chicken fried rice and a tiger roll. Only reason they didn't get 5 stars is because i hate peas and carrots in my rice and friend rice comes with no egg!!!!! I will be coming back!!!! Too bad I ate all of my food before snapping.... didn't think it would be so delicious....

Mr. Hibachi has been in business for several years. It's family owned, and has been the same owner as long as I can remember. They feature both Japanese and Chinese cuisine. My favorite is the lunch special hibachi beef. It comes with chicken fried rice, and crab Rangoon, all at the total of $8. The beef is sirloin, and is not fatty. The prices are so inexpensive, and the food is amazing. You get large orders. My wife and sister likes sushi. And they really like their sushi. This is a good place to get sushi, and you won't get sick. At this time it's carry out only.

The food service is very casual but polite and although a lot of small restaurants have their share of great food this place was very mediocre. The sushi was served fresh but the ingredients were definitely not. The salmon and tuna were very pale as if un frozen and sat out for a couple of hours and although the vegetables seemed fresh the sushi was still not up to par. I would compare this with the local sushi you could pick up at your nearest grocery store I've tried several of the dishes and they also lack any authenticity or taste,better fresher ingredients and they might win some people over. But for me it's a hard pass.

No. Just don't. Save yourself a trip. I would give zero stars if I could. The place is just gross. Should've known when it's still all shut down & carry out only. The owner is too cheap to pay a staff so I should've known he's too cheap to serve quality food.The seaweed salad is just nasty. I eat it all the time from elsewhere & know what it should taste like. This seaweed salad tasted rancid. The tofu strips on top were soggy & definitely not fresh. If I don't get food poisoning I'll be shocked.The eel & avocado roll was just OK & definitely needed the eel sauce on top. The roll was also tiny. I ate the roll first & was glad to have ordered a salad to fill me up. Then tasted the salad & yuck!What a waste of $13+

Mr. Hibachi is operating on a take-out only basis, which was perfect for us because that's exactly what we wanted. They've placed temporary sheet rock walls around the front door, so the space is pretty small for ordering/pickup.We had a pretty large order - 2 sweet and sour chicken, one large egg drop soup, the spicy tuna roll combo and an order of Chinese doughnuts.The spicy tuna rolls were pretty good for being rather inexpensive sushi. The hubs was yelling 'HOT' while he was eating them, so I'm going to assume the advertising as spicy is correct The kiddos enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken and white rice.The not so great part - the egg drop soup was SO salty that we had to add water to cut down the salt. I definitely enjoy salty food, but the soup was nearly inedible. My favorite part of a Chinese doughnut is the sugar. It was a bummer that these only had a little blob of sugar in the middle. They were not coated like I've had previously.Overall, it was okay, but not great.

I ordered sweet sour chicken and crab Rangoon. Both were very bland. I also ordered hot sour soup which was good in flavor. I'm still looking for a good Chinese restaurant in blue springs. The search continues....

This is some of the WORST food I've ever had. Why in the world would someone put cornstarch on Hibachi shrimp? It was mushy and gritty and ruined the entire meal. This was our first and LAST visit.
